I remember how I stumbled across Amaranthe. I saw the documentation about the Nightwish tour where one singer got sick and left and Floor Jansen later came on board. There was this one concert where out of the blue Eliz Ryd and Alissa White-Gloss jumped in and sang with Nightwish while holding the lyrics on papers in their hands .... and the fans where so welcoming.

Correct! Nils is on clean vocals and Michel on Growls. You really should do the first single of the new album "Damnation Flame" as well. what a banger that is!

I went to a Dragonforce concert this November 6th past and Amaranthe was the third of four bands (Dragonforce being the fourth). I had never seen or heard of Amaranthe previously; however, at the end of their set I gave them a standing ovation. They were spectacular!! I will definitely be going to see them again when they come back to Toronto (hopefully with Dragonforce) again.

I love Amaranth, i have been listening to them since 2013. Fun facts Nils is also the lead singer of the power metal band Dynazty, Mikael is the lead singer of the Swedish melodeathband, Morten (the drummer) is married to Mellissa Bonny of Ad Infinitum and plays with her in the amalgamation band The Dark side of the Moon with the guitarist and one of the stage performers from German medieval metal band Feuerswanz, so there is a lot to dig into, just to follow up on the people in this. Another little tidbit most of their albums (all since The Nexus) is produced/mixed/mastered by danish producer Jakob Hansen (of Hansen studios), who has also produced most if not all of Volbeats albums, as well as doing engineering, mixing and mastering for a slew of other metal bands like Unleash the Archers, Dynazty, CyHra (leadsinger is Nils Molis predessersor in Amaranth Jake E), Evergrey, Powerwolf, Epica, Delain and others

This is their brand new song, more typical of their sound than the older ballad you started with. 2nd song from the new album, which comes out in February. This album introduces their new harsh vocalist ,Mikael Sehlin. Yes, Nils Molin on cleans here with Elize. Next? Damnation Flame, the 1st song from that record or Archangel.

Olof is the "white haired Elf" on guitar (he also plays keyboard),he is the founder of this band. Nils is the one with the long,thick wavy hair,correct. Johan is the guy on Bass,Morten is on drums (the only Danish guy in a Swedish band) Theyr newest member is Mikael Sehlin. I still struggle to remember his name without looking it up,as Henrik aka GG6 on growls/harsh vocals was the best i have heard. So its gonna take some time getting used to Mikael,but so far he is doing okay. The last one being of course Elize,wich i have petnamed the Nightwish saviour as well. (What she and Alissa White Gluz did will never be forgotten)

There is a Cross Over Metal band from Austria you might want to check out called Kontrust. They have that mix of pop and metal sound with only two vocalists though. But they are pretty good and entertaining. The music gives you the feeling of should I dance, or should I just bang my head.
