I just love how Amaranthe just keeps on evolving and trying new things and yet it sounds very much like Amaranthe, so stoked for the new album. Loved the amount of harsh vocals in this song very nicely balanced. Ramping up the electronics to 11 was a really cool choice, love the futuristic feel. Also the video is awesome.

To everyone who is saying they want "old Amaranthe" back, just listen to their older albums. Bands change over time, and I commend them for doing something different, such as the electronic sounds in the beginning of this song, and in my opinion (you are entitled to yours as well), it was very well-executed. I'd rather they do stuff like this than the same-old stuff. Excellent job, Amaranthe! Keep doing what you do best! 🤘

It's not that a band changed and evolved over time. It's the way they do it. Some bands gets better and better and than there are bands like this one. First two albums was solid till great with high potential and than the "drama" begins. With every new album, they get more and more boring and irrelevant than before.

I have to wonder if this song is a reference to "The Third Wave" social experiment done by a high school teacher named Ron Jones. It actually has a few concepts displayed on the signs, which Mr. Jones "preached" during the experiment. And the resistance group could represent the students who resisted the movement. If you're interested in learning more about this, Mr Jones published a short story documenting the progression of the experiment, in 1967. There is a reading of it here on KZbin. It's about forty minutes long, but is WELL worth the listen.
