Valentine’s Day of 2016 was my second time seeing Amaranthe. I brought my (jerk) of an ex who was being rude to me and made me cry mid concert while we were standing front row. Jake stopped mid song and let them rest of the band continue and reached his hand out to me and said,”Try to smile.” A small gesture, but it meant a lot to me during a rough time. I love Nils and how well he fits into the band, but Jake will still hold a special place for me and I hope he’s doing well on his new endeavors. I also met Elize outside of the tour bus at that concert and she was sweet as can be. Truly a band of genuine and kind people, not filled with narcissism

I guess I've been under a rock all this time, but I only discovered this band (thanks to KZbin suggestions) about a week ago. I like most of their stuff, but this track in particular seems like a perfect fusion of thrash and pop. Very fun and extremely catchy. I hear it in my head when I go to sleep, when I awaken, and all day long, but that's a good thing (so far)!

I agree to a certain degree. I think multiple genres kind of isolate music. I also think that genres should describe how you’re making the music, not how it sounds. I’d call this just metal, and if someone asks, I’ll tell him/her it has screams and rely heavily on synths. That’s just additional info.

I was thinking corny but cheesy works too. The late 80s techno synth is part of their charm. At it's core it's a good song, with solid talent in front. Not the best post production work though.

Great band Growling in this is ethic, and Elize can singer better than any pop singer today by far, METAL always ruled.

I like Jake, too, but I think they did a wonderful job finding a suitable replacement. The new clean vocals (Niles) fits very well with Elize. I like him just as much as Jake.

@@Mindcrime1988 tbh, I just wish they would remove the growler. He seems SO out of place in the band, always has. You had good instrumentation with that CRAZY harmony between Jake and Elize, but then the growler just constantly jumps in and ruins it imo.
