महसी तहसील के महराजगंज में बीती 13 अक्तूबर को हुई हिंसा में पुलिस ने बृहस्पतिवार को पांचों मुख्य आरोपियों को नानपारा इलाके से पकड़ लिया. जिसमें से दो आरोपियों द्वारा शस्त्र बरामदगी के दौरान हुई पुलिस मुठभेड़ में गोली लगी है. हाफ एनकांटर और गिरफ्तारी के बाद एहतियायत के तौर पर जनपद में मुख्यालय से लेकर संवेदनशील और हिंसा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में पुलिस का पहरा बढ़ा दिया गया है. डीएम मोनिका रानी व एसपी वृंदा शुक्ला ने शहर में रूटमार्च किया. इसके साथ ही नेपाल सीमा से लेकर सभी ऐसे स्थान जहां पर विवाद की आशंका हो वहां पर पुलिस की भारी संख्या में दोबारा से तैनाती कर दी गई है.
