I love your garden shed! I’m all about reclaimed building materials. When we were getting ready to restore our old house, we salvaged a lot of flooring and other architectural elements out of 8 old houses being torn down. It was a lot of work, but we wanted actual old wood. Your home looks so beautiful with all the lovely amaryllis.

I grew amaryllis for the first time this year after watching your videos. I am addicted. I bought 3 white ones (tag only read "White") with no particular name. I got them at Trader Joe's. They bloomed beautifully. Not sure which ones I will choose moving forward. I do love the dark red ones. Thank you for the tour of your amaryllis. Every thing is so beautiful you gave me the bug. I always grew ameryllis but we moved to a senior subdivision so I have all my plants to my sos in law. Watching your program, I got the bug again ,just a few, white, red, red lion fusha. Love the siding on the library! I have a Picotee Amaryllis that is about 5 years old, a reliable rebloomer, and it looks like the Picasso but it only gets a very small red spray on the inside of the petals right before its done blooming. I love Picotee, they are so reliable.

Such a sweet little cottage! Everything about it pure perfection! Your amaryllis are breathtaking. I love the one called Picasso; I don’t mind the stippling at all. I’m not a person who loves solid red flowers; however, I find the red bi-colors are quite lovely. My heart belongs to the pinks ones! Aren’t we lucky that they come in so many beautiful colors that we can all find ones that we love?!

The library is fantastic! I am waking up 2 amaryllis - one was a rescue a friend had severely overwatered. The other day our wonderful mail lady gifted us a red amyrillis. I get so excited when I see ‘amaryllis’ anywhere in the description of your video! You’ve turned me into an obsessive amaryllis lover! I wish I had bought Magical Star this year! I am trying some new ones this year and going to see if any of the amaryllis I kept from last year will bloom this year. I put them outside this summer and then into dormancy late September. My husband thinks I have too many - I told him ‘not possible’. I think I have him enjoying them a lot too. I am also giving some away as presents this Christmas. My mother went into a nursing home this fall and I have three in her room. She loves them too and we both appreciate how long they bloom. Thanks for being such an inspiration!

Of mine this year, White Candle is my favorite. I have 8 blooms on just one bulb. It is now quickly growing to the side. It is not tipping over as the bulb is still completely upright but the flower stems are bent to the side. I turned if every day so I don’t know why it is doing this but I still love it.

Your plants and blooms are just beautiful! I let mine bloom in the house and they then get planted outside after that. I live in a place where they can be in the ground all year. I’m surprised that you have them in a place your dog can reach them. My friend nearly lost one of her field and hunting dogs do to digging up one of the bulbs and getting half of it. I have two dogs that would do that in a heartbeat do they are located on the highest part of our counter they can’t reach. (they got one pumpkin pie yesterday)!

The difference between cool red and hot pink is really just hues with more or less white. And it also depends on light conditions. They are beautiful regardless.

I have always loved "Papilio". I had one for several years. It only bloomed a couple times for me. The bulb just got smaller and smaller each year. It grew leaves, but I couldn't get it grow like all my others. I would like to try it again, but I feel I was missing something with that one.

You have so many of the bulbs that are on my wishlist already! It was great to see ones like Blossom Peacock in a video rather than just a website page. I personally have Picasso on my list BECAUSE of the speckling, but if you want pure white with the red edge, I think Picotee is the one. You'll appreciate this: I picked up a cheap Christmas Gift kit this year on a whim (after vowing not to buy anymore cheap ones because the one I bought first had some kind of worm in the basal plate) and it not only rewarded me with three stems, but when it bloomed, it's not Christmas Gift! Instead it's a fluffy double white similar to Alasca, with SIX buds on the first stem. I am so in love with this flower.

Danielle Your library is coming along very nicely, love your Amaryllis plants growing in your house and look so healthy. My bulbs are wrapped in brown bags and in my vegetable drawer in the refrigerator. I'm in ne Ohio crazy weather. Just had second snow I'm in a secondary snow belt had just about 1.5 inches. My snapdragons are still growing very green with pink flowers 😅
