Important tip about Ama: Even if your dash ends early because you hit a god with it, the silence field continues through the entire distance of the dash. So, if you line up your dash appropriately, you will silence everyone in the line.

yeah i remember when i learned this, i was confused about why it worked that way, then i actually read the ability and its the mirror flash at the start of the ability that actually does the silence, so if you want to know when the silence is active, just aim that flash

Interesting thing about the dash, If enemies are blocking you, slam her dash into the wall and she'll 'grind' the wall. One way to get through small gaps and ensure you don't clip an enemy.

Ama has always been low-key terrifying her third hit gives you a debuff that increases all damage taken. Her dash silences. Damaging her makes her mirror hit like a truck and her ult stuns. And she can heal herself and not just that healing herself either gives her team extra power or movement speed. Basically if you don't have an escape or a good team she'll stick to you until you are dead.

I’m so confused on how to farm in the jungle, but also rotate to help out your team. I always fall behind like 2 levels, but I’m almost positive I get all the camps possible... Any tips on what I may be doing wrong?

What’s annoying is how long it takes to get to lane squeeze in farming while trying to yank especially when a team feeds and the other team levels above you and then your team tries to complain about ganks like dude I’m on the other side of the map lol

Try movement speed build and share some xp with mid. Try to get the camps on cooldown. Watch a few jangle game. I recommend watching incons normal jungle game and int3rsect's jungling guide.

Only rotate to kills that you know you can get or if someone is pushed up behind to your towers. Make sure to us vgs when ganking because that lets the lane get their cc ready a d help get the kill. Try to wait out movement speed skills and abilities in general. Don't go for targets that are higher level than you unkess they have like no health. Look up mast as well, he's an ex pro player on youtube and he is how I learned to jungle. He accidentally explains like everything and shows off how it should be done in my opinion.

Jungle right now is a little weird you are not really jungling the first 2 mins of the game. You have to go share mid waves after doing blue buff so that you dont fall behind the enemy jungler. Its just stupid that you cant get the same amount of xp while jungling from the beginning of the game. They need jungle changes so you dont have to play the second mid laner for the first two minutes.

The truth is if you're falling behind like that, you are too slow. That's ok because it's an easy fix. 1) learn your gods best clear at level 1. Serqet for instance has very fast clear, and what you want to do is focus the large minion. This is the case for most junglers if I'm not mistaken. As the minis tend to die or be close to death just from the ability damage. The big guy will need some basic attacks as well. 2) are you building correctly? The reason alot of jungles build t1 hammer before boots is specifically for clear. The extra 15 power really dose translate into faster clear that early in the game. Be sure you're build is correct, as you gain experience you'll understand why youd want to build Morningstar or start t1 boots until then stick with mace, and in rare occasions (bakasura, arachne) katana because these gods have very fast clear naturally in their kit and will want the movespeed instead of the power, (yes I'm saying mace for Nemisis and Kali, they are late game, there clear is slow. with experience you can switch your build to match a more aggressive early pathing) 3) are you spending too much time waiting for a gank? Are you dying when you gank? Are you watching your jungle timers to know where your farm is? When jungling keep the mindset of "YOU MUST BE KILLING SOMETHING AT ALL TIMES." anytime you're moving from camp to camp, or waiting. You are losing xp. Kill SOMETHING at ALL TIMES and your speed will improve drastically. If you're finding it hard to understand the rythum of the jungle timers, or understanding your gods capability go to a Conquest practise and pick a jungler. See how many times you can do your typical rotation before a camp kills you just to have the information in your mind, and so you can see your current hp and know if you're safe to farm more or if you cant and need to go back after a gank. Watch junglers on youtube for their pathing. And expirement with your own. No 2 jungle games will EVER be the same. That's the fun of it all. :) good luck.

For the ultimate on Ama also works on minions. If you miss a god but hit a minion it would still increase the affect

Why not go the katanas route? In jungle with her I go golden blade, ninja tabi, serrated, hastened katana, frostbound, toxic blade some times and maybe hydra's lament. Usually the game ends and I don't get to complete the build

I use Qin sais, executioner, Frostbound, stone cutter, traveler boots, bloodforge, trans, or Arondight as main power item. her melee is dangerous if u can stick to target

I'm a fan of Masamune on her. Good mix of extra HP, damage, movement and a few protections. I know you weren't asking me, but... still. I play Ama a lot (my 1st diamond god)

Masamune was one of the best items for her as a boots replacement. The sledge isn't bad though. But the lack of movespeed is a noticeable difference. (12 star here. :))

Can someone tell me how at 9:22, when he was at level 9, he already got his 2 at level 5? In theory you can't level up a skill to level 5 before level 10 and without having another skill (apart for ult) at level 2. Am I wrong? Because I'm not a super informed player, but after 500hrs I think I know something...

Simple, he didn't level anything at 8. At level 9 you can get an ability to level 5, but generally everyone goes for their ult instead. By not levelling an ability at 8 he could level two abilities at level 9, his #2 and his ult.

It’s something your build on her in the solo lane as opposed to the jungle role. Solo lane build is more on the tanky side & jungle build focuses more on damage/attack speed ama

What about shoguns as the magical protection item? It gives you more attack speed so you can proc your passive easier and it puts you at 40 CDR

Yeah, the passive is applied only on the 3rd hit, and is an aura. You can stack the auras on up to 3 seperate targets, like the front line minions (hitting each 3 times) to stack those auras on a target standing inside all 3 auras for the maximum damage increase. Yes, this includes any gods standing inside all 3 auras, and it improves her clear and dps tremendously. Hope that explains things, and not further complicated it. Lol

I did not know her passive stacked, I thought the passive capped at 10% on a single target and to get the 30% you would have to have 3 auras active. Didnt know you got 30% on a single aura. Which is scary since the aura effects nearby enemies, so get the a group stun with your ult, proc your passive, and your team just nukes.

How do you keep their damage dealers at bay? I’ve been getting smoked by 40k-50k player damage jungler’s, adcs and mages, often times all in the same game. Im doing alright myself but my team as a whole gets overwhelmed. Is it viable to spec into defense as a jungler? I’ve been considering running Spectral Armor and stuff.

Depends on what kind of defense really. Imo an assassin that is building a straightforward damage build should consider Mantle of Discord if defense is a necessity at the current moment. If not build your assassin bruiser style, get a trans for pure damage and then hybrid items. That'll let you do very good damage while being some what tanky.
