Its IMPOSSIBLE to find friends to play this game with. I work for NWS Skywarn as a volunteer IRL of almost 2 years. Just found the game a couple days ago and im ecstatic. I met Sean Casey in 2011 (inventor or TIV 1 and 2) So i have a huge passion for weather. I just wish it was easier to find friends to play with haha. Great content

@@technopancake85 You can look up NWS Skywarn spotter training, they offer free training through MetED. After completing that you can check off whether or not you want your information sent to the NWS to be registered as a volunteer spotter! However, some areas require a more specialized class after that first "class" thats more tailored to your region. MetED also has a whole bunch of other free courses you can take later on!

I have always wanted to be I one, I have an intercept vechicle and I have skyward spotter game-pass. Sadly I can’t talk because I don’t have an app, but I do have in game chat, and an alt with voice chat. Still, I would understand if you can’t or don’t want me to play. I got a challenge suggestion, okay, so you guys are the storm chasers, and there are NWS employees, as well as EMS and civilians, and if a tornado hits a city or town NWS and EMS respond to the scene to heal or bag up people and rate the damage and you guys report the tornado and damage so NWS can send out warnings and also send EMS to heal or bag up dead civilians and the civilians and you guys have to report the injuries and deaths in that town or city

This game is decent if you want to learn to read radar with it (it's still not a great tool for it but it will let you understand it better than the average joe at least) but as a tool for storm chasing, it's horrible. Not because you will learn nothing from it, but because a lot of what you do learn will be inaccurate and may get you killed as a result. You may be more or less confident in your ability to do something due to what you learned from this game, which means you can either die or end up missing something super good because you thought you WOULD die when you wouldn't.
