OK, I stopped at 3:57 to answer your question. I think since your doing the 2v1 deal it's maybe even. However even though you are both capable of of making the shot at any time, John has a smoother consistent tempo plus he really knows the course. So final pick: John by several holes.

The R1 doesn't work well with Android. Bluetooth connection issues. And if the software doesn't automatically advance to the next hole, the R1 shows the wrong data. When I queried the company they admitted they had some problems with Android, and didn't know when the problems would be fixed. Really good rangefinder, but don't buy it if you expect all the advertised features to work with your Android phone. This was my experience, yours may/will vary.
