I complete relate to this shift. I"m 31. Had my first kid at 19. I was almost clear & then I had my youngest at 27 lol. All i've been for the last 12 years is mom & employee. 2025, I'm finding myself & no longer feeling guilty for living my life and being more than a mom.

I felt the "lost of identity" statement. You and I share almost the same paths. I, too, got pregnant at 17 and giving birth at 18. I, too, got married when my oldest was 5 and had 3 more kids back to back 4 years later. I haven't gotten the chance to know myself. My two oldest are in sports, I work full time, and I too, get shit done! I'm tired, I'm overwhelmed. I felt this with my whole heart. Just want you to know you're doing a great job and you are definitely an inspiration. I can't wait until I get back to ME! I wish you happy new year and I pray you reach your goals this year!

Hey! I'm excited for the changes. I realize too that I need to do some things for myself. I got married, pregnant one month later and pregnant every year the first five years of my marriage. I had a 4 yr old, 2 yr old and a newborn crying all at once! Thank GOD I made it. Now that my kids are older it's time for me to live again. You are definitely a motivation sis!
