Everyone says Nylon straps are comfortable but what is so comfortable about a dirty smelly strap? They are hard to clean.

According to Garmin: Hand wash the nylon strap with a mild detergent, such as dishwashing liquid. Do not put the nylon strap in a washing machine or dryer. When drying the nylon strap, hang it up or lay it flat, and allow it to dry completely.
