3:33 mini has plastic lugs, 2e aluminium. Man, thank you a lot! The best review of these things I have seen on youtube. You saved me from braking that mini the same day.. That crown sticking out does not look robust either.. 2e for me it is. Although, I am also thinking about Band 6..

Frp (plastic) lug normally strong enough and not easily break. Else it wouldnt be in production. I have been using watch with frp lug for outdoor and triathlon, so far no issue.

I was actually more interested to mini because of the price point. But then I noticed the frame rate for 2e is better. looks smoother than mini. I guess I'd choose 2e.

I have the GTS2 Mini. I like it. It does have a learning curve and I haven’t learned all its tricks yet. Documentation does not come along with it. I’m not finding I get more than about 5 days on a charge. It’s going to depend on what features you have running on the watch, as well as the brightness level. Overall, this is a fine watch for the price (recently lowered to $90), it looks great, and I’d recommend it to others.

Another difference is the AOD. While GTS 2 offer two AOD skins i.e. analog and digital, GTS 2 mini on the other hand has thematic AOD depending on the current watch face. Much similar to the high-end smartwatches.

Another difference would be Gts 2 mini has quick reply function when you get a call notification. You have to scroll up from the bottom part of the screen and get the quick reply option. I don't know if GTS 2e has that quick reply function. I think it doesn't yet.

Wow what a wonderful review! I'm really hard pressed between the two because I want a slightly bigger screen but the price difference is too substantial! I love how you did a deep dive into the features, nobody ever mentioned the Pomodoro timer!! 👏🏻👏🏻 That's a real deal breaker for me because I work with the Pomodoro technique. If I may ask, if I buy the GTS 2E, would I be able to install a Pomodoro timer later from some app store? (I urgently need to buy a watch for months, ever since my colorfit NAV stopped working (after just 1.5 years))

Hi Michael! Great question ☝️ but it’s not just spo2… the hr accuracy is MUCH better, gps accuracy also much better… specs is more subjective but the overall look and feel is way more premium than either gts 2 mini or 2e

@@WesKnows Since I noticed the same thing and this is the decisive factor for me, is the interface on the 2 Mini laggier during animations/transitions than it is on the 2e? This is what the video shows anyway. For example on 6:40, when you are scrolling through the list. The GTS 2e seems much smoother than the GTS 2 Mini.

Yep, it's just not that practical... it takes the temp of your skin.. but as I explain in one of the reviews... the skin temp will be offest by the temperature of the environment you're in. I was filming a review in +3C.. so the temperature read +19C.. avg of body temp and outside...
