In this video I will show you compilation of 8 time lapses of 3D printed Articulated Animals. This time you will see 3D printed articulated snakes, octopus, fish, scorpion, spider and sloth with his own tree from many different views. All these articulated animals were printed by Creality CR-6 SE 3D printer without any supports. Some of them have more parts, for example articulated sloth has his own tree, articulated rattlesnake has tongue and the tail. So you can choose different color of 3D print filament for every part of the model same as I did.
These 3D printed articulated creatures are great as toys, you can play with them a lot like I did in the video. Even when you are adult.

❓My recommendation for carbon fiber bed is 0.5mm thickness so that the plate can be easily bent. 1mm is too hard and inflexible. You probably won't find the size you need, buy a bigger one and cut to the size you need. ❓

Good question. They won't destroy, I have printed things that I put in the dishwasher and they survived without a problem. However, there are materials that are used to print supports that dissolve when in contact with water.

I’ve been trying to make articulates figures like these but my printer keeps messing up and shifting layers. It works fine with everything else it just doesn’t like articulated prints.

This can be caused by many things. Retraction settings, wrong filament temperature, extrusion width, wrong filament, etc.

Most toys are printed this way. Only the snake prints split. If you had a multimaterial printer, you could print the set at once.
