Here's a little tip that can save you time and paper to make your lovely calendar: cut all the triangles the same size. Then lay the design paper triangle on the bottom one, drop it down a bit and adjust it at the bottom. You can repeat this as much as you like! Kind whishes

Ann, this is truly outstanding. You obviously spent a LOT of time designing this and figuring out the measurements and I'm immensely grateful that you are willing to share it with us. You are truly talented and artistic, but your greatest gift is your generosity. I will be making this for my mother this year and already know how much she will love it. Many blessings to you! Janet 🤗👍💖

Sorry for the loss of your doggie. May he rest in peace. Just as the mini pyramid that you most recently made in another video, they are both breathtakingly beautiful. I made a prototype so as not to waste my materials and to gain a little experience. In In the process I learned that it is best to use quality materials particularly for the base (Pyramid). The weight or thickness of it matters. Especially since a lot of work goes into making it and it is something that you would like to keep forever or pass it down to your grandchildren. In the process, I found that adding the tabs later was easier for me than cutting it attached to the 3 pyramid shapes, as per instructions. I also learned that this method probably works with any isosceles triangle and that rather than too much measurement, for example, instead of going in an x amount of inches, folding the pyramid shape in half worked as well. The same goes for forming the pentagon base. Once I had all the sides assembled, I traced the base. Thanks again for the inspiration and support. Like yourself I too would like to use materials that I love instead of the generic stuff ❤

I used this video as an inspiration to make an unusual gift box for a friend's birthday. I made it using cardboard instead of cardstock, since I had to put in items heavier than paper boxes. I also had to "adjust" a couple of things due to cardboard thickness. The result was stunning and greatly appreciated. Thank you Ann, since your videos are well explained and inspiring. By the way, your calm and clear pronunciation makes your videos easy to understand even for a non native English speaker as I am (although I find working with inches a bit weird....😄). Hope you keep this channel on for long. Wish you the best.

Sometimes it's hard to get enough of a particular DSP to cover the whole inside or outside of a project. I suggest you get a heavy weight wrapping paper with a design that has no up or down. That way you can use scraps to cover another panel. My favorite tip for this is to get a few matching gift bags at the $ store, with an easy design and use the front and back of the bag to cover your card.

Hi Ann, love, love, love the project. However, may I suggest a simpler and more accurate way of creating the mat and layers, rather than doing so 'by eye' (step on video around 07:25). If you take the project base template triangle and place it onto the layering mirri card or patterned paper, and line up the base of the template triangle with the bottom edge of the laying media and then slide the template triangle vertically straight down so its base is something like an inch below the edge of the mirri/patterned and then draw only the 2 vertical lines, you will have the perfect layer template. This distance can be varied in accordance with the size of border you wish to achieve - test on a piece of copier paper to avoid a mistakes with costlier stash

It is a labor of love… I am working on a prototype and a method that is less challenging for me, some things are not apparent from just watching the video. It is probably easier for me to figure out my own measurements rather than to go by yours since it involves a learning curb. I hope that I can arrive at the same conclusion. Nevertheless , it's an awesome project well worth the effort. Thanks, so much for the inspiration ❤
