It would be really cool if after finishing this series you made another one where you build houses based on other countries/areas outside of the US!

I've always wanted to see someone build a traditional Swedish house and not the boring modern Scandinavian home. Most houses in Sweden don't look like that, we have a lot more of the more traditional houses. I like your idea, but I hope if she does it each country could be represented by what it really has and not the architecture it is known for outside its own borders, it would be so interesting to watch and learn from!

I haven't seen every video in this series so I don't know how often you talk about them, but it would be really cool to include information on which indigenous peoples lived in whichever state you are building for in the future. Sort of like a little land acknowledgment! Super cute build. I really appreciate this series and all the things you help me learn about the states :) Alaska seems like a beautiful and underrated state.

Love this build - I lived in Alaska for over 20 years and enjoy the elements you incorporated to make it “Alaskan”. Fun fact: the colors of the University of Alaska Anchorage are green and gold, so the college banners work well! I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that most people say “snowmachine” instead of “snowmobile”! 😊

i would love to see you do a build for California! i know it’s probably daunting because it’s a huge state with lots of different housing styles, but it’d be really cool to see one of the beachy craftsman’s we have in SoCal!

At my work, we once had a resident with a large giraffe collection. Just tons and tons of giraffes - photos, paintings, sculptures, nicknacks, lamps, postcards, notebooks - all giraffe themed or featuring giraffes. There were so many giraffes. It's one of those things that's kind of unforgettable.

Hi Tanya! I mentioned on a previous video that I am originally from Alaska and I just wanna say this is so cute and so accurate. Almost every house I'd ever been in had a lot of bird things. My paternal grandmother for instance had lots of loons and mallards, and my maternal grandmother had lots of chickens, she even kept real ones when I was a child. And almost every house I've seen has that mid-century building style, so it's really nice to see you emulate it here in the Sims! The windows in the back of the house are especially reminiscent of a lot of buildings I've seen. Seeing your build really makes me want to go back! Also, I don't know if anybody has told you yet, but it's pronounced "mat-uh-noo-skuh". 🦊

I lived in Fairbanks, AK for almost 4 years. If Alaska wasn't mentioned in this video, I'd still say that this has Alaska written all over it! Watching you build the shell and exterior wall textures definitely reminds me of a lot of houses I'd seen when I lived there. Love this build😍

There's something about this house that feels so familiar and real. I'm from Washington, and I think it just as easily could have represented our state. Your range as a builder is amazing, too. Loving this series! My bucket list includes getting to all 50 states someday.

DEFINITELY a lot of bird stuff in New Zealand! Before humans completely took over the land, the whole place was extremely loud filled with bird song, meaning it was never quiet. There’s still a lot of bird song, and I get surprised when I find some other countries or in central cities you don’t hear them

I grew up about an hour away from mile zero of the Alaska highway. There is even a directional sign in my hometown that shows Alaska that way. Being a kid, I remember the convoys of retired folks coming through on their way to the Alaska highway from the mainland US. Imagine like 50 Silverline trailers, all rolling up in a store, parking lot and all the people getting out to buy a few groceries..

this looks so much like the house in Palmer I lived in, right down to the blue on the outside! so cool that your dad lived there too. delighted that you mentioned Homer as well, it's so pretty and one of my favorite places. funnily I have an uncle who does live in a one room log cabin covered in moose antlers (he has a detached building with a shower/washer/dryer lol).

Yes! Alaska! I was one of the people who requested it. I was born there - in Anchorage to be exact. My dad worked at the oil rigs in Fairbanks. When you talked about the moose it made me think of the stories my mom always told me about them being literally everywhere. One time she was washing dishes and looked up and a moose was staring at her in the window. lol She said she nearly dropped the dishes it scared her so much.

I just discovered this series and it's fantastic. Please, keep going with these. Edit: I'm binge watching these and I can't stop. I'm usually more into let's plays than building videos but these are so interesting and I love the fun facts. Grew up in Ohio. In school around 6th grade. We would fallow the Iditarod which is the dog sled race. We would build our own wooden sleds and get teams of 5 to pull them. One person is the musher and the other four are the dogs. We called it the I-kid-arod.🤣 we would run around the school campus and you had to stop at certain points to do task which was to simulate the check in and rest points of the actual event. We would sing songs, do jumping jacks, or solve riddles. It was an actual race against the entire grade. Class of about 120 kids so…. My team was dead last😂 so we got the red lantern award.😂
