Another great adventure at Diamond Hill Mine! Zach invited his friend Tanner out to dig for his first time. Lauren finds her best Amethyst Crystal Cluster for the first time! Scott digs up huge Quartz Crystals and we meet some new Rock Hounding friends! Good times at Diamond Hill Mine, Abbeville SC

Loving your videos! That pink-tipped piece... 😍 WOW! I've found a single pink-tipped point about that size at DHM in my years of hunting there. Sweet find! Also love the yellows you found, and the amethyst, and... all of it. 😅 That is one special little parcel of land, isn't it?

Hi there. Have to give you a shout out because we were there at the mine the day before you arrived. It was our first visit to Diamond Hill and they had just had two days of heavy rain and so we were fighting mud. We found a few nice pieces but it was a little too muddy to get to the piles where you folks were digging especially for me at age 72. We're planning to go back soon. We went on to Graves Mountain on the 29th the day you were at Diamond Hill. Sorry we missed you because we've watched a lot of your videos and enjoy your rock hunting and commentary. We hope to go back to Diamond Hill pretty soon before it gets too hot. I'm a retired geology and astronomy teacher and have a pretty extensive mineral and rock collection at my home. I'm 72 now and able to do some Rock collecting just for the pure pleasure. I also cut and facet gemstones on a Graves faceting machine. Take care, and and keep posting your great videos.

Thank you so much for watching and also for the kind words of encouragement! Diamond Hill Mine is definitely one of our favorite spots to collect but, it will be getting hot soon which definitely makes the hunt a bit more difficult. Have you been faceting for very long? It's something I would like to get into but haven't really tried my hand at it yet. We hope to run into you up there sometime soon. If you see us be sure to introduce yourself. Until then...Thanks for watching!

I just posted three videos on my channel. One shows my faceting equipment and work area, another show some of my cut stones, and a third shows our campsite at Elijah Clark State Park in Georgia. It was our base of operation for both Diamond Hill and Graves Mountain. It will take a little while for KZbin to clear the videos but take a look in the next day or so and get back to me let me know what you think. It's great corresponding with you keep up the good work.

That's a great set up you have and man those facetted pieces you cut are gorgeous! I seen your campsite video too. It looks like you found a great spot to set up base. I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work.

Hello!! My girlfriend and I are heading up there Monday I am wondering if there are any spots we should look at to dig or if anywhere is fine. We have done digs before but we’ve never been here thank you!!

They have turned a lot of dirt here lately, so I would say the tailings piled up around the property would be a great place to start looking. The property is loaded with crystals. Some are totally hidden by clay and dirt, so you may want to check any suspicious clumps of mud. I'm sure you won't come home empty-handed. Good luck, and thanks for watching!
