Yeah these tools are 2 person required. One to use the grinder, the other to drive to hospital. Better yet just take your stuff to grind/cut to the e room parking lot so you can walk right in without a second person

Most disc's tend to just burn you more often than not. Even the stone cutting blades. I don't know why anyone wouldn't just use a chainsaw or a circular saw for those couple discs for wood that are more "finger choppy". I think those are more for wood carvers.

The Kutzall shaping wheels are excellent, they get the job done while being easy to control, the one with the chainsaw blade is dangerous and hard to control and can suddenly dig deep catching and pulling you into the blade or jerking the tool out of your hand breaking bones

Couple of those brands also sound pretty no name lol. Like, just buy 3M. Works, fast and since they brought out cutting disk you basically can just buy anything you need except maybe those special disc for round inner shapes.

Cool stuff but please stay away from the wood cutting discs!!! 5 weeks ago a nearly complete amputated my left thumb by one of these discs!!! Wood tends to clamp while cutting and the kickback forced the machine into my hand!!! Stay save guys

ESPECIALLY if you are wearing gloves. Around rotating machinery loose the gloves or loose a finger. It's much better to have a couple stitches in your thumb then not to have a thumb to have stitches in. If we catch a guy with gloves around drills or grinders we send him home for the day. The second time we send him home and tell him not to come back. Gloves are for sharp edges and when it's cold. If your hands are that soft stay away from machinery. I never saw a power tool that didn't want to hurt me.

Ive worked with wood and a lot of metal for 50 years. Body killers are great tools for shaping material, but the danger if a hang up, and kick back is there every time you pick it up. This video is terrifying.

I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read kzbin.infoUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.

Don't use anything but a grinding disks (metal, stone and diamond) on an angle grinder, nothing with blades and mechanical cutters, disks should be flat, anything else results in very bad injuries (fingers, limbs, guts) and death.

Dumpbest tool ever is the pferd cutting tool just because of the price (US is $1,200 yes $1,200) when it should be a $50 or at tops $100 and I still would probably not buy it at $100 I don’t know who there marketing to but there are other tools that do the same job with almost the same setup for a 10th the price and some are so cheep that there a 30th the price. Same with the diamond wheels there are others that do a fantastic job and last a long time but I don’t anyone that is willing to pay an arm and a leg for any of these products

Really, go inform yourself on the safe way to use a angle grinder. Accidents might even be fatal without proper handling. It might work well 99% of the time. But this 1% … you will regret for the rest of your pretty short life. Just for your thoughts: were does the disk flies to when it shatters? The guard or your stomach?

@@ewerninghaus totally agree, even with "just" a slitting disc, if it twists you're into A&E counting bits, after over forty years I had my accident with a 9" grinder cutting steel, doing everything right, guards on me and machine, instead of falling away like the rest had done, this bit twisted just enough to nip the disc and in a fraction of a second two tendons had been severed and the back of my hand was cut to the bone, with no guard I would have lost fingers, my grinder now grinds or sands !!.

I sometimes cringe at these types of video some power tools are best used by professionally trained people not DIY and most of the blades on here are very dangerous if used wrong so get a trained person to do the job and save the hospital beds for someone who needs them….
