I just got them a Week ago with Velvet tips aswell , Design is so pretty but the Sounds suprised me and I got what I searched for "a mix between all goods" & good Separation. Would be interested with which Dac/Amp you are listening to them :D. At first I was a bit afraid to buy them because im sensitive to some Treble but they cover it so great & gaming is fine for me with them.

I know tictac uses Fiio Q11. I use Fiio K9 Pro ESS or Ibasso DX170. It's a fun set and truly unique.

Vocals being too quiet during gaming or when music is playing means you need more mids and it's too V or U shaped for you, right? Ofc it's good for edm and bass heavy music, but I feel like I have the same issues with my Tin T4+.
@ImAWSMDanny Жыл бұрын
Yea bass veils vocals. Needs more mid range emphasis. Usually you don't need much though.

I like these, very fun

Are these good for metal and rock music?
@ImAWSMDanny11 ай бұрын
I would say yes but the mids being recessed might be too much.

@@ImAWSMDanny thanks for the response! I already have neutral and bright IEMs like Final A4000, Hexa and Titan S. Seems like these will be a good addition for some fun sound signature.

Yes it should compliment your collection very well. Bass is uniquely done and has good texture. Very fun but still capable set.

Is there BA timbre?
@ImAWSMDanny Жыл бұрын
I did not notice any glaring timbre issues at all during my time with the Phoenixcall. Used it for about 3 weeks before review. Sometimes female vocals sounded just a bit off but I feel like that was more of a tuning issue rather than driver issue.

Bro how do these compare to planars?
@ImAWSMDanny3 ай бұрын
Planar IEMs tend to be very fluttery and shallow in sound for me. So they are highly technical and clean but light. Phoenixcall has a bit more viscosity and weight to its sound.
@jondandavekinanahan74883 ай бұрын
@@ImAWSMDanny and how does the phoenix call fare vs something high end like the aful performer 5 and moondrop b3?
@howardroark3670 Жыл бұрын
Watching your review it sounds like listening to songs with female vocals would not be too good. I get the impression that female vocals are in the background and difficult to hear over the music.
@ImAWSMDanny Жыл бұрын
Yea Phoenixcall can definitely do that to lots of busier stuff.

Nice review. Doesn't sound like my preferred sound sig, so I'll skip. And I'm on the other side where I'd much prefer they skip the fancy packaging and extra stuff, save me some money, and better for the environment.

Understandable, thank you for tuning in. I appreciate your support.
