a couple of things I could suggest would be weighing down your straight edge, when holding a straight edge vertically, keep your can farther from your paper so you don't have to worry about splatter (In general your coats are so wet that most of your colors end up smearing together instead of blending with each other, so keep cans like 2-4 inches further away from your surface). When making the water effect, try and use less surface area on your fingers to get more texture out of it. I can tell you're using almost down to the top of your palm when you do the finger technique; but if you try and use just the tip of your finger down to the first knuckle/bend, you'll get a much cleaner effect. When doing the newspaper technique, I wouldn't recommend dabbing the same piece multiple times without changing the spot you hold it from. try using magazine paper, wrinkling it up a little, then lay it out flat and give it a gentle wipe in a few places. This will give your texture better blend without the colors getting reapplied in spots. After all, the whole point of that technique is to take some of the black off, not put it back on right after you take it off. I love the idea behind the work, and overall the end result is appealing. I don't think you're bad at this, and I hope you don't think I'm coming to your videos to bash your work. I myself am just starting to do spray paint art, and I'm learning new techniques every day. I hope this comment is seen as constructive help and not hate. Good job man, and keep the videos coming. I can't wait to see your next work!
