So good to find a channel with some nice, long videos that we can sit back and enjoy! In this age of plastic bottles, it'sgood to unearth even those slicks. They represent what is becoming a lost art. We hope your channel continues to grow. We will wait eagerly for each new video. Thanks for this one!

Well thanks for watching!! Sometimes I’m not sure if people want the longer videos or not so it’s nice to hear that. Check out my other videos if you haven’t already. I’m working on the next one right now and have footage for 4 additional ones. Stay tuned!

I like your work but you should do a follow-up of your finds. Save some time at the end to showcase the days work.😊

That’s what the photos on the table in the beginning are for. That’s everything cleaned up some.

56:09 was the salt shaker's lid, it looks like it broke off at the top. Toss it aside like it was trash...lol

Lol….yeah I think you’re right after watching it. I think the shaker ended up being cracked though.

Pop's here. Would using a hand 3-4 prong garden rake be easier.

So those are caper bottles? I found one with a tooled top, 6&1/2" , 1&5/16" square with concave corners in green. In a definitely pre 1894 area, no broken sodas post 1894. Some common stuff back to the 1860s. Everything local was broken, but found a lot of neat mainland stuff. Was told old diggers would flat ignore stuff other than local sodas. The place was a parking lot from about 1980-2017. This hole you're digging looks nice, tooled thru ABM. Found my first "whole" Hawaiian whiskey, a W.C. Peacock, about 2" of the heel missing. Try and sift some of that dirt, amazing smalls I bet. 25, CCs? Euro chemical?

Yes those are caper bottles. Probably made them green so they would look more appealing. My hole definitely has a wide variety of stuff in it, never know what you’ll find. I have a theory about older stuff in places where you wouldn’t expect. I would imagine that when an elderly family member died the heirs would go thru their stuff and toss a lot which would explain why we occasionally find the odd old item but who knows.

That goes for this large 1941-46 site out in the country of downtown Homolulu. Rents & housing zoomed in what became an overcrowded honky tonk town "For the duration". A lot of old rooms were "Cleared out", retired streetcars were "Worker housing". Police chief Gabrielson officially declined to enforce prostitution laws into 1944. That acres large site in the country is well burned, but yields good stuff & late throws.at times.

I did, I gave it to the home owner that let me use their property to go in the river.
