im going to try this soon. parking at Tully road parking and going as far as the trails end just below lake Anderson. any other trails like this kind that long and not crowded? the other one i want to try is the american river trail that is 50 miles i think, not sure from sac to Folsom.

Great plan! There are actually many entrances, you could also start that trail from the opposite end - City of Morgan Hill. Regarding other quiet trails... Well it all depends on the day and luck usually. My other favorite one (and not crowded) is Uvas Canyon. Well, wait sometimes it's very crowded though.... I guess if you really want to get out of the crowd is to go to the Nevada side. There are quite a many trails nearby Reno and Carson city. Regarding Folsom and Sacramento - not sure, haven't hiked there! Let me know if you check it out how it's up there ;)

Do you mean if it's safe to ride a bike there after 6 pm? I think park closes after sunset. So it's better to start earlier, of course.
