Did u do anything extra to water proof that tent cause few are really water proof

There are some tents that are not waterproof and that makes it difficult for me when camping in heavy rain, but when the rain stops, I can dry them with a dry cloth.

What is so exciting about putting up and down a tent in the pouring rain, altough today there are tents that can be pit up almost by yourself within 2 Minutes And he still has to go out in the rain to pee You really have to think the the rain is pretty cool? And there wasn't enough room for decent sleeping bag either? Ouite a strange Hobby my friend. Stay healthy

I don’t understand why when the tarp is set up they don’t get under it with all their gear and stay under it while it’s raining, isn’t that the point of the tarp. And until the tarp is up why not wear rain gear, makes no sense to me,
