Hi Jake I just want to say thank you so much I'm the tech at my church and I've literally been binge watching all your vids trying to see how i can improve our service, like many others i'm on a budget but your vids have given me soo much encouragement I really believe we can do it. I'm hoping to get the worship team on ableton live in January and really try to take it to the next level I've been talking to the worship leaders and other members in the church and so far everyone is on board and your channel is a big reason for that so Thank You and may God richly bless you.

I started live streaming at my church a few years ago and similar thing I shopped around for deals. The whole control room setup cost under $6000 which I self funded and the original production plans I was looking at would have cost my Parish over $40,000. Great video and inspiring for another who wants to start their own Ministry.

"small budget" All is digital, sound, lights, projection.... And in our church we are running on old analog board which is dying right now (literally some electronic parts are just worn off), no lighting whatsoever (only on / off hall lights), projection done by old easyworship software on 5years old win7 PC... Isnt it great? :D I am actually happy to see how many churches novadays are able to get great AV and use it. But even I would like to one day work on SSL console with waves soundgrid running meyersound PA and see all the lighting and video done by our crew. It is in prayers :D

In my church we use the Behringer digital console, digital stagebox plus Behringer in ear monitoring. It's not easy to set, but has much features including psycho acoustic effects as enhancer/ exciter or a 3d processor.
@robfriedrich28226 жыл бұрын
Today it's amazing, how much lower budget products can do. We run a 24/7 prayer room for about 70 persons. The sound is done by a PA from a Noname brand. It's a 15" bass box and 2 8" 2 way tops, maybe about 800 Euro and it sounds good. No master equalizer needed, few equalizer corrections on the mixer channels. Our services are in a cinema, we use the speakers what are installed behind the silver screen - but usually the sound in our small prayer room is much better.

Hello! Im triyng to insert in ear mix on my church, but most of people... they were bothered about the click in both sides on they ears, and when i ask the áudio operator about change the beringerx32 to send stereo signal for the musicians ear the click on Just one side, he Said to me: " this is not normal, and every body uses the clicks track on both ears ", this is It? What i say to my church Band? Just : " deal with It" ? Or find a pro áudio tec to fix my audio?
@stephenevans25184 жыл бұрын
Late reply but to answer your question it is normal to have the click in both ears. If you are running stereo inears it's easy to pan the click in the X32. Easiest way is in the phone app. If you are running mono inears (one bus on the 32 for each foldback mix) then you can't pan the click

+Lighthouse Church I know you've mentioned buying your lights on Amazon, but could you give a more specific list? Our church is looking to add movers to our stage, and I've researched a ton of off-brand movers on Amazon. I am just not sure of how bright of a light I should be looking for, and I thought knowing which ones your church purchased would be a good reference point for us.

Hey brother can you please explain how to connect X32 to S32 and is there a need for X32 sound rack ... I’m sorry if this question is weird one but we don’t know what is the procedure so I’m posting this question
@Churchfront6 жыл бұрын
No need for an additional rack. You will plug the X32 into the S32 with an ethercon cable - www.amazon.com/Behringer-NCAT5E-50M-Tour-Grade-CAT5E-Cable-164/dp/B00WK23UIA

What hardware would I need to run our lights to in order to move to a lighting system run by the Luminaire app? Our DMX computer is dying and we're intrigued by using the iPad to do this.

We have used the luminarie system at our church for a couple years now. The app and idea is great and it functions well as long as you WiFi signal is uninterrupted. Any loss in signal be it power blip, signal drop, update whatever, will cause you to lose control of your system. I have had it freeze on a scene and then unfreeze at the most inopportune time and even go to a blackout state. It’s a great way to run a lighting rig but make sure your WiFi is rock solid. We actually just switched back to a hardwired DMX console because of the issues we have experienced.

This is so great! That lighting setup is awesome! Was there a list of LED lights they purchased? Did Josh have anything he said he would have done differently knowing cost & time/energy?
@Churchfront7 жыл бұрын
Hey David! I will check on Josh with these things. I know he said he got the lighting fixtures on Amazon.
@LighthouseChurch52807 жыл бұрын
David, we purchased all of our LED DMX Lights via Amazon. We bought multiple Par 64 LEDs, Amber LEDs, and movers. None of them were name brand and they all worked flawlessly with Luminaire. You do, however have to do some channel programing if you aren't going to use name brand stuff. Which actually isn't that hard with the app. The most time-consuming part of the process was learning the new system. Which you really can't change. We had to learn a new sound board, a new lighting system, and a new projection system. This is just inevitable. But we wouldn't change anything. And that's saying something after almost 3 months of use.

$7500 is sometimes the cost of just one speaker from a major name like Meyer Sound or D&B Audiotechnik.
@robfriedrich28226 жыл бұрын
I was in a church, we had column speakers from Fohhn, this system was 8000 (am not sure, was it with or without subwoofers). It's not easy, but possible to do the complete system with 8000. One possible way could be buying old subwoofers and replacing the speakers or to turn the wall into a bass speaker. Material and size is perfect (maybe you remember the HiFi enthusiasts using marble speaker cabinets)

@@robfriedrich2822 they did mention that the church got a lot of the equipment at "cost". So figure in the usual market-up for retail and you have your "real" world price.

Hey! I really like the lightbulb look...how was this achieved? How are you able to control the lightbulb via DMX? What poles did you buy to put the lightbulbs on?
@LighthouseChurch52807 жыл бұрын
Watson, the bulbs are low wattage, LED edison mock bulbs from IKEA. They are $6 each. They are dimmable. If you want to be able to control them with DMX, you will need a DMX controller for non DMX lights, they are around $100. You can plug in your standard lights into the "outlets" on the controller, then the contoller connects to your actually DMX system via a DMX cable. I hope that makes sense. It's quite easy.

@@Churchfront it is relative, but I think they did a great job and did a most of the work themselves. Curious as to monitors, are they using wedges or IEM? Amplification? I saw a Behringer X32 mixing console.
