No further info as to availability and price. Why to evoke customer response when there is no clarity on production and cost? There are several brands already in the market and you have only given them ideas to improve their product technology. Further unless the price is competitive (say, around Rs. 3000) difficult to succeed. Just my thoughts as a potential customer!

in the philippines we have a grater cost less than 50 dollars, can grate one whole coconut in less than 1 min

regarding this grater available in Philippines, is its hands free? or u need to hold it??.. there are many graters which cost less than 10 dollars where u have to grate coconut with hand against a fixed blade to electric motorized graters costing 40 us dollars where the sharp grating blades rotate and one needs to hold coconut against the sharp rotating blades with hand.. having risk of cutting hand.. the video posted above is the prototype for a grater where you are risk free ... no need to hold the coconut and also its fast .. one half coconut is grated in about a minute with hands free coconut grater...while manually it takes 3 mins to grate a half coconut manually...

Looks really good. Suggest don't use hands but stop the machine and take coconut bowl in hand and show by a spoon how the coconut flows like flowers. Secondly provide flat blade of various diameter with same points all around. First fix it as per coconut size. It will first remove the coconut inner ring, then place the regular scrapping attached. I find that the brown back skin not come as per demonstrated is a good sign that only coconut is scrapped for use.

Thanks Pramodzorse. There is an electronic circuit which knows when grating is completed. This is a prototype and final design will be smaller and exact way it manifests is being decided based on the market demand. To answer your question we can make it to fit into a normal mixie also.

How do we know that it has finished shredding? High chance that some of the shells might get scrapped, which is a disadvantage. Also every time we cannot open it and check whether it has finished scrapping or not? I hope when you fix this issue, it might be attractive. Please check there are plenty of scrappers around the world. People always look for what is unique in your system otherwise selling would be a problem.

Thanks for your comments..the version shown here is only a prototype.. as mentioned in video . the final mass produced product which will be launched soon is fully automated with more functions.. btw.. this is the only hands free version available in the world.. all the other versions one has to hold the coconut... that itself is the main advantage and also the time to grate is less..plus automatic..
