Not sure if you allow self promo (feel free to delete the comment if you don't) but I made a data pack that includes tons of QoL features. There's 500+ new recipes, more lightning transformations, better villager trading, generators for normally non-renewable blocks, more uses to the smithing table and tons of other things. I use it in my survival world and it's great. It's called Owl's Ultimate QoL

@@zyad48 aaa ty! and yeah data packs are really great, one of the most underappreciated features in the game imo. The features I added in mine are relatively basic but some of the stuff that others have made is absolutely crazy

yes, the only ones that won't work well are those that add things you've already done like advancements and world gen. but even those will still work

Why is mojang so lazy with what they add to minecraft? Modders can add so much more in less time than them.

They’re not “lazy”. Minecraft Ideas Academy has a great video on why developing for minecraft is a different beast than modding.

datapacks are available in vanilla minecraft, and are similar to "add-ons" they work by rearranging code that exists already in the game, while mods build and change the code

I have an idea to make Minecraft more realistically for miners, first Steve should have limited storage space only for the one he can use so for Steve to add more storage space, Steve have to create his own bag pack using leather form mobs, if this made you guys mad sorry everyone.
