For rustic wood, I dust it with a chip brush. Just stiff enough, but not too bad.

Hi there, the pizza pan craft that you had the glue sticky stuff stay on it as you ran out of GooGone. I use WD40 on my glass or metal things that have glue or tape residue left on it. It works every time. I have never bought googone for that. Linda from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦

Is that texture paste like gesso?
@thediystruggle3 күн бұрын
Not at all!
@Freddybender1233 күн бұрын
@ really?..looks just like the stuff I got at Walmart
@thediystruggle3 күн бұрын
@Freddybender123 You absolutely can get gesso at Walmart. I have a ton of it and have worked with acrylic gesso for years. When that medium dries if left in a clump it's rubbery. You can not sand it. However texture paste dries solid and can be sanded. If you are referring to my home made mix. It also seals well on large furniture pieces and is not easily dented with a finger nail or sharp object. Tim holts texture past is very similar. However gesso. Again, it's rubbery. You can still a sharp object. Or, finger nail and will leave a mark. The mixture almost reminds me of caulk. I've helped build houses and home extension. That would be the closes medium that gesso reminds me of texture wise. While the texture paste is such of a joint compound consistency. Hopefully, this information helps.
