Nice review Mike and Lady Kath. I'm still running an original Gammaxx 400 on my daily driver. I bought like 4 of those. I also bought an AK400 in White for a future build. note this is just me but im always going to choose air coolers intead of water coolers, bc they are more reliable, cheaper and use lees power than aio and some of the high tier air coolers compete with some of the most popular aios. air coolers has less points of failure and it's just one chunk of metal and a fan rotating to keep it cool, even if the fan goes out your case fans will still provide passive cooling for the cpu. granted its not going to be as efficient and as effective as having a fan mounted right next to the cpu cooler.

Good looking design to fin stack, love the waffle design which mimics their logo. AIO does intrigue me but would rather keep fluids away from electricity! Be interesting to see temps seem after you undervolt cpu. Thanks for reviewing Mike and Kath 🐈👍

I am sat here admiring my in box Pure Rock FX aRGB, I am commenting first before watching just in case your cooler out shines mine😁🤣 5700x/tomahawk en route, full ATX, so I'll no longer be a sadist with my 4000d😜The only 32GB ram kit, motherboard compatible was the fury beast 3200MT, I did like the look of some older G.Skill but it was only 16GB, the beast was 17£ more for 32GB. Kudos for all the videos, pure inspiration - Thanks.

ag500 probably has a bit more thermal headroom, the freezer is different level in terms of how quiet it is

Yes, definitely should be fine, although all modern CPUs like to try and hit the max TDP so a suitable fan curve is needed so it doesn't sound like a jet engine all the time

all AM5 chips will try and hit 95c by design, this will let the CPU work as it should but i would recommend setting TDP to 65w regardless

you can get lots of sata or molex powered adapters or controllers that will be able to control the lighting, we reviewed a gamemax one a while back

Freezer 34 and the ag500bk only has a difference of cost equal to 8 USD. liquid freezer to is twice the price of freezer 34 around 118 USD.

@@mikesunboxing Thank you so much for your replies. However, my only problem is I cannot find a proper comparison between liquid freezer 240 and 34 esports duo. Cannot find an indirect comparison where these 2 are compared with the same cooler. Looking at the thermals at 125W the temp difference between the 34 esports duo and the liquid freezer 2 280 is about 5-8 C and I guess the 240 falls somewhere inbetween in which case Im trying to justify spending almost twice on the 240. My case only supports up to 240 on the top. :( Anyway, thanks again for your feedback. Really enjoy watching your reviews.

yes it will be fine. the thing is the AM5 processor is designed to try and reach 95c unlike processors before it, so you need to adjust your normal fan curves or it gets noisy quickly

the paint or coating used on coolers is often special thermal paint, but in reality you can use any paint and it should be fine
