AMAZING Dollar Tree FARMHOUSE DIYs for 2023! Budget Friendly Farmhouse Home Decor DIYS

Hi Rebecca, I grew up in farm country and our kitchen was a farm kitchen with a milk can that sat right outside the door in the porch and the our dairy provider's son once a week brought us a new can of milk. His name was Art Blessing. I have one of the last cans we rec'd in my foyer. A couple weeks before my mom passed away July 2021 she gave me a list of things she wanted me to have and the milk can that my dad reconditioned and put an Early American eagle decal on the front now sits in my foyer. This July 4th and upcoming Memorial Day it will be a nice statement piece. But, I laugh (in a good fun way) when I think of living in a farm house using a farm kitchen back in the 1960s living in farm country was a way of life. Who would have ever thought that someday our items would be decor. I have a cutting board shaped like a pig that is 60 years old that was cut out with a jigsaw and seasoned to beable to use it which now I display in my little kitchen. I cannot ever see myself having a modern fancy kitchen no matter where I hope to buy next spring. I like simple and the items from my mom's kitchen I remember as a child I now have in my kitchen. I am in a historical registered building in Arlington, VA and we are not allowed to use nails or molly bolts in our walls and I have yet to buy a large combo pack of Command strips. I also live in a flat that is 610 SQ FT so I do not have lots of space in my kitchen or in any rooms but the owner that I rent from. Prior to my moving in made a large serving window going from the kitchen looking out into the living room as the tenant before complained to no heat in the kitchen. Doing this he took out the wall cabinets and threw them away so I literally only have 3 cabinets. I found at Home Goods country styled white cabinets that are more for a living room but they house my juicer, blender, collection of different mugs all with the beachy vibe, one shelf is for my glue gun and accessories, wire, beading equipment, adhesives, craft items. The serving window ledge is very wide so I decorate it for the seasons and or holidays. I have one nice corner of counter I would like to make into a coffee bar type of area and not sure how to make it farm house but practical. Your cutting board farm house crate somehow I would like to incorporate and would love to find bottles that have a flip top to store sugar in and a good powder cream . Years ago when I had a very large apartment in Alexandria City (VA) I stained a large wooden frame and out chicken wire in it and hung in my wall and all my fish hook at the earrings (most I made) would hang on the chicken wire and I hung it on the wall. My bedroom is very tiny and not being able to use nails here I cannot hang it up. I now have all my earrings all thrown into a antique glass bowl and it gets old digging them out. Your frame that you have the wood bead wreath in is just the size I need and I think. I can hang it with command hooks for 15 lbs just for prevention. I would love to beable to hang my earrings up again. It would be so awesome. Answer to your question,for projects such as these I believe this chicken wife purchased from the Dollar Tree is the way to go otherwise your buying much larger rolls at Tractor Supply and then you have to store it, it does rust if it gets damp and you may never use all that. This was a great video. I also want to seek out your video where you made the jute string flowers I think they would be cute glued down a couple of them in the corners of the jewerly chicken wire frame.
