1st of all, I'm glad to hear Loretta is getting better ❤. The babies are adorable also! My Dad had a VERY close call the Friday of Labor Day weekend so I've been there(& the hospital until he was released) until yesterday. Anywho, he swears I've ruined his chickens & dogs in that short amount of time 😂. Truth is, he spoiled them long before me but now he has an excuse to use so he can still be "tough" & say it was all me 😂. I say all that just to say that I totally understand how much you can love your pets even if they're chickens. He keeps a radio playing in the coop 24/7 because they actually love it & it helps calm them (I just didn't know if you knew that but it's definitely true). I told him you decorate their house & all. He said & I quote, "well Carla, that's about silly". Literally less than 3 minutes go by & I hear, "Carla, maybe we could do that since you're always crafting. They might like that. Do you have a few little things you could bring up to decorate for them?" 🤣🤣🤣....my Dad, Mr. Tough Guy...lol. I'd LOVE to find that cat but no luck yet 🤞.

I know- I was embarrassed to tell my mom I spent $200 on her with vet and meds- coz I KNOW what she’ll say- I told my friend Brandy from the channel “the diy struggle” that I’m just a crazy ole hick that’ll take a chicken to the vet - and she made sense- she said “it doesn’t matter, Loretta is a living being that you care a lot for, and it doesn’t matter if she’s a chicken- she means a lot to you” then I didn’t feel too bad about telling folks I took her to the vet-😝❤️❤️❤️❤️

Kathy, I am so glad to hear that Loretta is on the mend. It is heartbreaking when one of our babies gets sick. I think it's worse than when my kids were sick. I love the cat grapevine wreath. My cat had a cough and I bought medication for hairball to give her. I have not heard her cough and she is feeling better. Crickets don't bite. They get my house and Kit chases them.
