Characters fine I think overall game design is why zoning kinda bad in this game like screen size, meter building, chip damage stuff like thay

Agreed. "Zoning" shouldn't be a primary tactic for any character, even if the character is known to be ranged. That playstyle is just way too cheap compared to any other playstyle for it to be considered fair
