0:16 When his flag became the official American flag, the teacher changed his grade to an A.
@grantorino23252 ай бұрын
6:30 Actually, it was changed to F because if a teacher saw that a student was trying his absolute hardest, then she could-at her discretion-pass him even though he achieved a failing grade. Namely, instead of an F (for "failed"), he would get an E (for "effort").

It is pronounced however the speaker chooses to. This is true of every word in every spoken language. The only reason most people "choose" their own versions of pronounciation is because somebody else taught it to them and they blindly accepted and adopted it, likely because they were too young to question it, and also because it was probably the same or very similar to the way that word was spoken by a lot of other people in their local area (fun fact = "beliefs" are formed the same way). In reality there is no RIGHT way to speak anything. Everything is a learned and accepted personal assumption based on someone else's assumption that was taught to you.

Dude... you lost me at the 3:00 mark. While you are simply regurgitating a flawed study, the idea that anyone can associate idiotic perspectives ("racism" and "homophobia") with socially conservative ideals is even more ignorant because it ignores the basic premise of the term "socially conservative". We're all allowed our beliefs, but "racism" and "homophobia" are inherently too broad - and neither of them have a realistic counter ideology. They're just petty insults. The video was fine without that segment. (yes, I am a fan - you are up there with "Daily Dose of the Internet" guy!)
