Yes, you’re right. If I had to stand on the same stage with Dimash, I would be terrified😅. Dimash is just great, isn't it? He manages to lift people to heaven with just one vowel. He leaves me speechless every time I hear this song. And I love it when the drums come in. It's so unique. Igor Krutoy (the gentleman at the piano) composed this version of the Ave Maria at Dimash's request.Usually, Ave Maria is a prayer to the Holy Virgin Mary. In this case, however, it is a prayer for all people, no matter what religion they belong to. Besides that Dimash is a Muslim and Igor Kurtoy, who often accompanies him on the piano, is Jewish. That is why this Ave Maria has no lyrics, since it is not only sung for Christians. He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. People will complain about anything and everything. Just do you. Igor is a fantastic composer. The Love of Tired Swans composed by Igor and performed by Dimash at the Kremlin is absolutely beautiful as is Love Is Like A Dream. Igor strikes me as very humble as well. He stands back and lets Dimash get the applause but you will see Dimash never fails to call hiim forward and acknowledge him.

Dimash wanted a prayer for the world, so he called up Igor Krutoy and this is the magic they made. A Christian hymn, composed by a Jewish man, and sung by a Muslim man. Truly, a prayer for the world “Ave Maria” is a variation adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore only the three opening notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note. At the end, the advanced vocal technique: “Messa Di Voce “ (from Italian Bel Canto technique) at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, it is extremely difficult and only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. Singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note!

In defense of at least a handful the "front row filmers": On the other end of the camera might be tons of fans around the world, grateful that a few fellow Dears are sacrificing their "moment" to livestream the performance on social media. Other Dears need the video on their phone just to convince themselves that they were really there--knowing they may suffer from the dreaded "Dimash amnesia" syndrome by the time they get home! While everyone is familiar with Schubert’s version, there are many versions of an Ave Maria. Bach’s version was written 100 years before Schubert. It has been performed by a variety of people in a variety of ways. You react how you want to react. This song came about by Dimash phoning Igor to say he wanted to create version of this piece. They spoke, mulled over combining their ideas. By morning this piece was composed and they were both happy with it. They are gr8 friends, they constantly work together on new songs. So most things now are collaborations. Friend I would just be you and provide your channel in a way that feel authentic to you. With the Dears, bless them all, you'll drive yourself nuts if you listen to every comment and try to twist yourself into a pretzel to please them. Just be you and be happy in your own way and in your own style. Then the right audience will find it's way to you. The only thing I support is not stopping right in the middle of a note, waiting until the note is finished, and even better is to pause at the end of a PHRASE and not in the middle of a phrase. But again, you have to be genuine to find your audience.

I am so sorry you feel that you can't please everyone and have been getting negative comments. I commented on Story of One Sky about you missing details by jotting down while watching the video, this was not meant as a criticism as usually this would be fine but because of the video being more of a film production I didn't want you to miss details in the film which you would have appreciated. You are a very good reactor and pay attention to the nuances of the work that are sometimes overlooked by other reactors, not that they are wrong but each reactor has their own focus. Dears are so protective of their idol that they can appear quite hostile to anyone not following a particular style of reaction but I doubt it is to be nasty, other countries are not quite so fragile with criticism as Americans are, we have to be careful and pick our words so as not to offend. Some Dears are crazy. 😕 There are Dimash trolls that comment just to start shit too. Igor talked about the creation of this song on his IG. 😊 Igor: One evening, about three months before the "New Wave", Dimash called me and asked if I could write "Ave Maria " for him, explaining that he wanted to sing something in that style... Coincidentally I had a free evening and I gladly sat down at the piano and, remembering the Italian formula of responsibility, worked with inspiration until I achieved the desired result. . . After taking a few days for the composition to "rest" in my ears, soul, and heart, I sent it to Dimash, who literally within half an hour answered that it was exactly what he wanted to hear. And of course, the reception and applause given to Dimash by the audience at the "New Wave" show what happiness it is to do what I love, to write for such a genius singer, to evoke deep emotion in the audience, and to be in demand... Just a short essay on " What is happiness?"

I believe that Dimash asked Igor to write Ave Maria for him and they always collaborate closely. Even though originally it’s not a Catholic Church song I wouldn’t be surprised if they chose the vocalise (or rather the « a » vowel version) because neither of them are catholic and Dimash never highlights religious or cultural differences, as we can glean from the Story of One Sky or his world views in general. It’s just a masterful piece of music both from the composition and from the singing point of view.
