Ingenious perhaps...I tried a similar but 'industrial' tool for my barbecue/smoker unit a few years ago. Better than nothing but brass wire brushing helped more...and chemical assistance to dissolve carbon was necessary for the finicky.

I'm in! I have a BBQ but didn't get round to using it yet, very well made and at the time I got free fast shipment from Canada which was great. If I remember correctly they say they designed it and it's made in china with their quality control to keep the cost lower, I have no problems with that at all. The amount of sliding bits that all have to be precisely aligned just shows a quality product. I suppose it's only a matter of time until it gets widely cloned by the likes of lixada etc sadly.
