That moment was a Zero Hour equivalent of a Federer-Nadal point. Super clever play by Vivid drawing the scorps and scud out with battlemasters and then catching them with outposts. And just when we all thought he finally cracked it Excal's last ditch sneak saves the Scud and the game.

Yeah that was a beautiful move. Keeping that scrapped, vetted scud alive basically broke the stalemate in the end. Absolutely beastly hits once it got up to double-vet.

Thanks for casting this Domi. At one point in the game Excal had one scud launcher, one battlemaster and palace and that was it. And still held.

It seemed like ExCal was using the anthrax with the SCUD more frequently just to make it seem less likely when a missile was going to be explosive and it paid off with getting 4 (or 5) battlemaster kills

That double scrapped scud was the MVP, if it went down, all vivid would have to do is circle around the back side and kill the arms dealer and CC. A fun game to watch to be sure.

Not only did excal get the dozer hunt but he did it in such a timely manner. If the Prop had gotten up then it would have been an easy win for Vivid. Having ECMS for the palace and maybe some infernos would have been gg

Random question: why don't more pro players capture the reinforcement pad? Having a trickle of free units could be really valuable for certain generals. An extra vee for Air Force could change a game under the right circumstances.
