Gerashi Gheimeh and kebab are local and very delicious dishes from the Gerash region in the south of Fars province, which are among the tastiest foods I've ever eaten. Gerashi Gheimeh is one of the most delicious stews in the world and you won't know it until you try it. This wonderful dish is prepared with caperette (goat), chickpeas, and tomatoes, and it is made from a combination of fourteen different types of ingredients such as cardamom, cloves, coriander, turmeric, pepper, rosemary, cinnamon, and other ingredients. One of the important points of Gheimeh is that they must use fried onions for this dish. When the water boils, it takes about four to five hours on low heat until it is ready and cooked well. This Gheimeh stew is eaten with Gerashi Tahchin, which really has a unique taste.
Next, I tested the Gerashi lamb kebab, which was one of the most delicious kebabs I've eaten. The method of preparing the Gerashi kebab is that fresh lamb meat is marinated with local yogurt mixed with onions, salt and pepper. They add a layer of yogurt and a layer of meat inside a clay jar, and they repeat this process again and close the jar, and leave it for two to three days so that the ingredients are well absorbed by the meat, and then it is put on a skewer and put on a charcoal grill which I have to say is very delicious. I also tried the famous Masghati halva from Gerash, a delicious and nutritious sweet from this region, which is very old and is made with different nuts such as almonds, pistachios, cashews, and in addition to nuts, they also use first-class rose water and saffron, which is very delicious

Wow dude, Absolutely amazing dishes. One thing about our food heritage, is very unique to Iran only. It’s mind boggling how many regional dishes we have from different parts of Iran. I tell you, I really wish, I was in Iran and taste some of those dishes. By the way, could you please tell me where Gerashi is located at? And my hats off to the Chef for preparing all those Scrumptious dishes.

And some of those dishes have been handed down from generation to generation keeping the top ingredients amongst the family not only daughters but also sons that maybe can give it to their wife the woman's daughter-in-law and carry it on there that is important and it makes everything so unique and just more yummy than it was from the get-go I am an born and raised American I hate the food here I find it bland and boring it's been picking up lately because we are turning us on two different collaborations but if it wasn't for the influence of other countries and other types of cuisine we would be screwed and a lot of people don't know this but Curry was invented or came about from the English the English of course as we all know from history went into India and did their thing and yep so the Indian people we're very sorry and took what the English came up with and said well we are going to the Moon with this and they perfected all the flavors the spices what types of meat to use how long to use this let's try this let's try that and guess what they made this world a happy place because then you have like a Pakistani and you have different Mumbai Dubai places like that there's that influx from Africa and from Jamaica and the Bahamas there are all Chinese they're all got their fingers in the shoe pot and that old saying when too many cooks spoil the stew well they can go take a seat in the park on that one thanks for listening peace ☮️🇺🇸
