There about 364,000 of us who have now subscribed to Dan's channel since we first-ever heard him sing, with THIS song, after he posted it on April 7, 2023, who have now celebrated, with him, his 1M subscribers mark that he just reached on May 12, 2024. On the 6th of April, 2023, he had 642,000 subscribers, after he had begun the channel on April 2, 2010. We all pretty much have said the same thing you just did, back when this song appeared on the horizon. Since then, most of us have made extensive trips through the rabbit-hole that is Dan's channel (plus he has songs that are on other channels only, as well). Since he hit the 1M mark 11 days ago as I'm writing this, the subs are still growing fairly quickly. At this very moment, he's at: 1,005,165 (12:47 PM). 😀

As this performance was phenomenal, I am even more impressed with these songs: Nessun Dorma by Puccini (all opera, no metal); Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar; and Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera. Dan is amazing! He does every thing from opera to metal. Dan is from Brazil and still lives there. He has his own band "Fearless" with his brother and 2 childhood friends. I've been a "member" of #VascNation since Dan dropped Amazing Grace last Easter and I've seen at least 100 of his covers so far, but I just discovered his cover of Boston's "More Than A Feeling" about a week ago and I was blown away. He hit every one of Brad Delp's high notes and just crushed the whole song. I've heard other artist's covers of the song and nobody has been able to match Delp's range, but of course, Dan did it. It's a 6 year old video, but I think it should be as popular as Amazing Grace has become. The guy is a phenom!
