We love that brand because we love luxury. The issue we have, as well as many other KZbin creators from 20’s-50’s… we want adventure plus luxury. Here we all are, thousands of us making triple digits to millions a year as creators wanting VanLife; can’t find luxury plus adventure. So we have to wait up to a year for the best sprinter out there, then pay up to 500k for a luxury buildout. 😅 Where is the company that will offer both for the young to mid creators like myself? 🤷🏼‍♀️ If you’re out there, we’re over here 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏽 like let me go grab a certified check from my bank. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 love your channel BTW! ❤

I know I’m getting here late but great video! I was settled on an Airstream Interstate 24GT … this one is almost identical inside! I understand the systems/tanks/batteries/solar etc are different (?). I would love to see a comparison video of the 2. Also curious if over the last year they’ve lived up to the quality / service / availability that they claimed would be there. Thanks for the work you 2 put into these videos!

I’m with Lola that oven is what’s needed in all RVs. Airfry and microwave. You can heat up anything and that’s such a plus.

These are beautiful but this guy is wrong about the extended not being available in 4x4. It most certainly is. The American Coach Patriot has had that option for several years. I saw a used 2020 with 4x4 and 24 ft. in a dealer inventory just yesterday.

Just imprqctical to put the microwave oven on the floor area.. what if those are elderly or childen.. so troublesome.. imagine you are squatting while holding your dishes. I like the rest of the rv very nice.

I’d be interested in your take on what you saw at the Show - Airstream vs. Grech? Which would you choose? Both higher-end. I like that Grech offers the standard 170 MB, which is the same length as the Ford Transit. 24’ is getting really long for any normal parking.

Airstream doesn’t offer fully electronic with 1260 AH Lithionics batteries.

I would be interested to know why Grech will only build on Mercedes platforms. Is it just their relationship with Mercedes, the economies of just using one company, etc. Their website does not provide answers on this either.

No. Extended is 24 ft. This guy said the 24 ft is not available in 4x4. That's not true. The American Coach Patriot offers that option. I don't know if he was mistaken or it was a policy the company took but they are definitely out there.

Beautiful interior. Looks like Newell Coach. This would be an excellent carpool van. VERY nice! *Coleman makes a quieter a/c. 😉 I hate to correct Lola, but the airfare, micro, conv. Is used in Airstream also.

Thank you Lola and Hank for the great video. I was very impressed with the cable management of the lithium batteries as well as the fit and finish of the RV itself. I had a chance to look at the Grech and you can tell it’s a very upscale coach.

Hank and Lola, thanks for the tour. It's a beautiful MH!! The awning end brackets give it a more finished look, and it's nice that the utilities are waist/hip height and hidden behind the panel when not being used. I like the bathroom, especially the bigger sink and window. (A lady actually would have enough daylight to put on makeup. 😉) I really like the larger rectangular stainless galley sink. Just wish other Class B's also had those. But I don't like the refrigerator, and I hate the awkward "get down on your knees" location of the convection/microwave/air fryer. Maybe I'm wrong, but it didn't seem to have any rear/garage storage space. Having a difficult time with those HIGH prices, because the last time we paid that much for a MH, it was a Country Coach Class A. 🙄

I also hope they take a look at your suggestions as well, they seem to be interested in offering something different from what everyone else is...baring in mind that it's difficult to make every class b fit everyone. So far as price, yeah it's crazy that the prices are often up there with most class A's

Wow great tour. 230k range for a sprinter built with luxury beats those class Bs at the 260-290k range. The only thing was not able to see if the driver's seat back could recline enough for a 6ft person to drive in comfort compared to those that allow no room to recline and the driver ends up sitting in what feels like a church pew. 🤔

I purchased the Grech Strada ION Lounge. Love many things about it but have a couple serious issues. There is a low-grade rumble / reverberation sensation coming from the back. There is excessive wind noise around the cab doors. Seems to be generated by the mirrors. These things may be acceptable to some, but in a $200,000 luxury Mercedes van with air ride I expect more. I do not believe it to be a Grech inadequacy. I am learning these problems are inherent to the Sprinter and wonder if other buyers have noticed this issue. I have many miles logged in multiple diesel pushers and going down the road was a much more pleasurable driving experience.

@Dave Silver I believe so. Tire shop checked the tires, rims and balance. Mercedes and Grech says nothing is wrong. Wind and rumble was so significant to me I decided to sell the van.

I like the fuel efficiency of a 3 L diesel engine but there is no way that I would buy a Mercedes-Benz when the warranty runs out parts and labor price is outrageous.

Love the all Electric model! Hoping more manufacturers go that direction. I’m assume they have a 2nd alternator to power the Lith. batts when they run down. Although I thought there was an issue is the Sprinter running at high idle during recharge, maybe not. Only 9 dealers nationwide could be a service issue down the road, which also the issue with Mercedes Sprinter Van in general. Ford & Ram are simply easier to maintain.

Good points, I think if someone is getting a sprinter I would recommend making sure you know where you're going to get that serviced before you buy...even some ford and dodge dealers are reluctant to service class b's so I can only imagine with the mercedes

@@strangerpalooza I live in SC where they manufacturer the Sprinter. I take my GLC to the local MB dealer. When I asked about servicing a Sprinter, Nope. There are places in SC, just not convenient vs. where I get my current RAM PM serviced down the road. My Ford dealer also services the Transit with no issues. But having driven all three like yourself, MB drives the best, IMHO. But having had a Diesel Motorhome in the past, I prefer Gasoline.

$25,000 more than the airstream adventure van (yes, apples to oranges), but that’s a bargain as amenities are plentiful. Simply not going with a MB, though. Not sure I want to be towed 600 miles to find a certified mechanic.

that's always a big comment on videos involving Sprinters...from what I've heard (admittedly from reps of co's) sprinters are being assembled here in the US now, and Mercedes is offering more support for them...at the same time these are the most popular of the class b vans...so I would say definitely do your research before you buy and make sure you know what you're getting into
