Why do people refer to other bricksbuilding brands as fake Lego? Do you want to get sued by Lego? Before you throw other brands away, you should look at what it's worth. Cobi is a very good brand. Are you expierencing a summer dip with sales? Seems a good time to get more parts in your inventory. Good to see that you manage to pick up some lots locally.

It’s their common name. If it’s a lego like building block and isn’t the lego brand it’s known by most people involved with lego to be “fake lego”. I highly doubt lego would ever sue anyone over protecting their brand by putting them in a higher position over 3rd party brands. I do sometimes look at the value of non lego building parts however I specialize specifically in lego parts so I don’t like to have items from any other brands in stock if I can avoid it (and I just checked the titanic one and in its condition it goes for about $10-$15 which isn’t worth listing for that specific item). Also in the past I’ve done attempts to sell bulk non lego parts but even at super cheap prices not a single person purchased the lots sold by the pound even after about a year or so of them being for sale. Yup! The summer dip has started :)! Like you mentioned it’s the best time for listing! Indeed! Local lots can be quite interesting!

@@nubs_select Lego won't sue? Well, they are not telling the general public that they sue. look up the story of germans most well known brickbuilder streamer and how he got so big. ( Not sure if you can find an english video about it). Lego also blocks shipments from other brands if they think the sets contain copyrighted parts. Doesn't matter if they do, Lego can do that in the EU. It's a bad side to the hobby.

I think I misworded my previous message, I had meant that they won't sue people calling knockoff building blocks in regular talk "fake lego". saying "fake lego" is a compliment and promotion of the real Lego brand so it would be weird if they went against that. I'm mostly sure (at least here in north America) that we have some laws that protect us for doing such things with brand names just like how we when someone edits a picture we say the image is photoshoped even though Photoshop wasn't necessarily used but its fine to say that in the same way "fake lego" is how knockoff building toys are generally referred to by most people (at least he in north America). Maybe! The lot had lots of great things in it! I only can spend what I get from sales! The more I list the more I can buy!

It can be difficult to start but once you have a solid inventory listed then in general your cash flow will remain solid for a good while as you purchase new inventory. Maybe I do buy to much lego so maybe I was onto something when I said that 😁😁😁 but that would be boring so I’ll try to buy more 😁😁. Best of luck creating a solid inventory so your cash flow can level out!
