That is a good price. How did you smoothe the boards before putting the veneer? only sanding or did you use a planer?

@@hansdegroot8549 Yeah, personally I prefer white oak. After filling the cracks and gaps of the board with sawdust and latex, then use a planer and finally sandpaper.
