Lava bar!....I live in a small farming town in western Montana and when I fly to Europe i almost always take Iceland Air from either MSP or Seattle , I love the stop over and usually spend a bit of time in iceland before connecting onward. Saga class is great and I really like the 757 and 767. great video...travel tip...take the ferry from iceland to the Faroe Islands and then Denmark...

Excellent video with outstanding views. Meanwhile, I think ICE should retire its 767s and replace them with the A321XLR neo, configuring its SAGA class exactly the same as Aer Lingus' A321LR neos. Stay safe.

Was the chocolate bar called Liquid Magma and made in an underground lair by Dr Evil ? Did you visit the volcano or too busy plane spotting :) What a fantastic flight you had. Great apron views from that fantastic lounge, great service onboard, nice meal and seating. It's nice to see they have not cut business class to the bone due to Covid. I hope they do well when we are back to normal, that they can provide a route to the USA via Iceland as well as tourism. 737 Max 8 or B757? B757 all the way baby, love the design, it is a sleek missile and flown by pilots, not some software millennial out of Seattle ... Rose tinted aviation glasses on FTW. When you retire and rate all your best short haul trips this will be in the top 5 I am sure.

They use the same seat configuration to fly to Seattle and Minneapolis. Icelandair business class is a premium economy really. You pay the same price for a business on other airlines but you get lie-flat seat.
