💈Amazing Indian Wet Shave & Head Massage By Mr. Turbo Power Hands | Pushkar India

In this video we introduce Mr. Turbo Power Hands and his barbershop from Pushkar, India where I filmed a wet shave and head massage.
This video was filmed in 2017. At the time I was filming by myself and had camera failure issues. Initially when I reviewed the footage, I decided it was unusable because of no audio and video flicker. This was disappointing as I really liked the shop and barber who gave an amazing massage.
Recently when I was looking for something else, I came across this footage again. I noticed the audio was actually there but needed some fixing. So I salvaged what I could to share this video.
Pushkar is a pretty small town so I walked past this barbershop a number of times. Located on the main market street, there were approximately 5 barbershops. Before filming I had spoken with the barber a couple times about the services he provides. He was really excited about the possibility of filming a video so each time I walked by he would tell me I needed a shave 😊
He explained that he referred to his hands as Turbo Power because they were very good for massaging.

Well, this isn't some hotshot saloon in a big mall complex type deal. This is a humble barber shop opening straight onto the roads. Most lower class barber shops are like this. I agree that India is a "horny" country but if you want you can definitely find peace and quiet if you look for it.

I asked some friends who grew up in India about the horns, and they said it’s to let people know they are coming because there is a ton of stuff in the roads like animals and people crossing. Also, a lot of the lights don’t work, so you have to let other cars know where you are.

This video reminded me of two things that had puzzled me for some time: 1) why do barbers (world over) clean their blades against the opposing hand and not a towel? It just seems unsanitary. 2) So much use of the car horns. I'm surprised that their intended effect is not completely lost by now, as a result. Thank you for the video, Harry!

It has happened before (in Paris) but it is very rare. Our most challenging filming experiences to date have been in Peru. At one barbershop we had filming pre-arranged and when we arrived, the barbershop was closed and the barber never came. We must have scared him off 😂 Thankfully we had help filming the videos in Cusco because we know those videos would have never been made without help :)
