Ale played 4 string bass earlier but she retuned the bass between songs as she had like 5 different tunings to alter in between and it took time so she got two 4 string basses alternating in between them with the black Spector on std tuning meanwhile the guitar tech retuned the white bass. then she changed to a 5 string bass and had to relearn half of the songs. She is now an Official Spector bassist

@@Cheezyxyz Ale's 5 string is a Custom Spector of her design, made for her at their custom shop in Woodstock, NY. It is lighter than normal because Ale (and her sisters) are tiny and it was heavy for her to have a regular bass onstage. Also, the finish, that looks like burning coals, was Ale's idea, and the first time Spector had done that. Now that finish is available on other Spector basses and is called "Ale's Inferno". It's funny that Pau says that Ale is sometimes scary. She said that on several occasions. The two have a very close relationship. They have a very special way to communicate through looks and gestures. Pau often seeks eye contact with Ale. There are also occasions caught on camera where Pau looks for Ale's closeness when she's emotionally troubled. I think Pau's quite impressed by the calm but strong personality of her younger sister and is very attached to her. She even listens to her when Ale puts a foot down.

@@ultimatelovejunkie4122 I suppose she has the quiet but strong-willed personality of her father. They spent a year learning how to program the pedal boards to recreate the studio layering in concert. There are no music videos for Queen of the Murder Scene - just do the songs in order from the Lunario concert, one of their best. Pau is the primary songwriter. She records tidbits on her phone. Hey Cheezy Dude! The song you were asking about with the bass intro and the uniforms is called Disciple, and it's awesome!! Yes, if you are going to go through the Queen of the Murder Scene album, do the live versions, either from Lunario or from Foro Didi, and when you get to the song Dull Knives, do that one from the Warning Cave for De(Tour). As for their songwriting, all three say that Pau is the most creative one and usually comes up with the beginnings of a song, usually a chorus and some lyrics. Then she takes it to her sisters for the 3 of them to work on. But, Dany and Ale have come up with songs as well. But, all three are involved with creating all the instrumental parts for each song, and they all must approve. That is why all their songs are so damn good! Pau is the most creative, put all three are musical geniuses. I have seen them live 3 times this year after being a fan since 2018. Nothing prepares you for how good they are live! I have been going to rock concerts for 40 years and The Warning still blew me away! Watching them play is like watching birds fly or fish swim, they make it look effortless. I do so enjoy seeing others experience the passion for music and the undeniable talent these women have. In regards to your question regarding Queen of the Murder Scene, I personally recommend going down the rabbit hole within the rabbit hole. The Lunario CDMX show was an incredible performance of the entire album, start to finish. At the time of this comment, I do see you have reacted to "Dust to Dust", which happens to be track 1 on QOTMS. Perhaps hit it up in succession so you can follow the storyline Pau created with Dani and Ale adding their flair vocally and instrumentally. Mix in other videos here and there, but to get the full QOTMS experience, initially stick with the Lunario performance for continuity. I love this documentary so much just because it showcases their personalities so well. Some of the songs featured in it that you haven't reacted to are Disciple, Queen of the Murder Scene (often referred to as QOTMS), and Martirio was the one at the end. You mentioned Ale's (pronounced all-EH since you asked) is actually a customer USA Spector bass where she is now a signature artist for the band with her own line coming out sometime. here's a short video by Spector about it kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqKZomionqyXmKc If you plan on doing a full album reaction to QOTMS I would prefer live videos. I believe they did play the whole album (along with a few others) at their Lunario concert in 2018 where you'll probably end up getting most of the videos from. Songs like Dust to Dust, QOTMS, and Dull Knives (cut better) are also still staples in their lives shows so you'll have more choices on those. Since it is a concept album you'll probably want to do that in story order and you can find that along with lyrics on their website www.thewarningband.com/lyrics-tabs. There are also two TedX talks they did in or around 2017 where they talk more about the early part of their career and play a few songs. There is also the Mayday in the Making documentary which is really cool. it's like 6 episodes that are 5-6 mins each and introduces you to a lot more of their team for the Mayday EP/Error album. If you look back at their covers and earlier music, it's not that they can't or don't have the talent, it's more of a particular sound that they are going for. Check out 2014 and 2021 "Enter Sandman" or "XXI CENTURY BLOOD" (their first official video, self funded) and you'll see. I hope that helps.

Hey, thanks for The Warning reactions! Enjoying your journey down the rabbit hole. Per your question about continuing The Queen Of The Murder Scene, since you already started with the live version of Dust To Dust at Lunario CDMX. I think you should continue with those live performances at Lunario, and follow the storyline. Dust To Dust was the first song, and was the Prologue. The story starts with Crimson Queen. Here's a link to a playlist of the album tracks mirrored against the live performance. It was actually the debut date of the album release, along with the first time ever playing the record live in its entirety. kzbin.info/aero/PLAOGal7pIOOiz68VDuo9kYjXrk8NHqq83

To continue your The Warning journey, I would recommend the path below. First you could explore their beginnings with the video's below available on their KZbin channel or on The Warning Army one or KZbin in general. 10 Year Old Paulina - My Life Would Suck-Cobus Version Dany playing Saxophone in School 2011 Their early covers. Once again at this point there is a choice to make. Do you want to react to all the covers below or just a few and possibly come back to them later. For me I would only react to a few, as once you have viewed the best ones at the top, it is much more interesting musically to move on to their original material, just my opinion. Enter Sandman - METALLICA Cover from 2014 HYSTERIA - MUSE COVER @ LICEO Resistance - MUSE Cover THE PRETENDER - FOO FIGHTERS COVER CRAZY TRAIN - OZZY OSBOURNE COVER @ LICEO EVERLONG - FOO FIGHTERS COVER @ LICEO Sweet Child - Guns N´ Roses Cover ATLAS RISE - METALLICA COVER Back in Black - AC DC Cover We're Not Gonna Take It - TS Cover I would recommend going through their albums chronologically to see their progress. I also suggest reacting to live pro shot videos or live studio session videos, as The Warning is a live band first and foremost. You can find live videos of most of their songs on their official KZbin channel or fan shot ones with acceptable audio on The Warning Army channel. To me at this point there is another choice to make, you can either go with the live performances from around the time the songs came out to see their progress or the most recent videos to see them closer to where they are now. The suggestions below you can either do later or alternate to them, if it becomes monotonous to only do live performances. They also have a bunch of acoustic covers of songs mostly from their 2nd album Queen Of The Murder scene, which are great. Just search for acoustic on their channel. Later covers and colabs: The Warning & Moderatto - Quemándome de Amor Nirvana´s "Breed" (Live Cover) w/ ERUCA Alessia Cara & The Warning - "Enter Sandman" (Official Music Video) - The Metallica Blacklist Album Instagram live covers and performances: Dany - Home (Cavetown cover) Creep Radiohead Pau Cover Walk - Foo Fighters COVER by Dany MUSE -Hysteria (Bass Cover) Billie Eilish PIANO COVER "My future" by DANY Wish you were gay - Billie Eilish Acoustic Cover by Dany Dany: Everything I Wanted (Billie Eilish song) Dany covers of Break in by Halestorm & First day of my life by Bright eyes Dany: I'm Yours (Jason Mraz song) Dany Sing the song that you ask There are also videos that are more for musicians about their rig setup: The Warning: Dany equipment rundown The Warning: Dany's Line 6 Helix LT pedalboard The Warning: Ale equipment rundown The Warning: Pau equipment rundown Then there is just some fun stuff(most of these are short, so you could react to all of them in one reaction): Dany: Ale's microphone (2018) Eruca Sativa surprise Dany LIVE! Pau killing the drums The Warning Survive - dancing onstage kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnTEeqGfhKeVh8k They also have some live shows that they did from their home studio, that they call The Warning Cave, on their channel, the quality is not the best, but they are fun because the girls are super relaxed and fully themselves. Lastly they also have VLogs talking about their shows, tours, studio recording experience, etc., but for those be careful of the dates, to not react before the rest and spoil your experience. If I forgot something, I am sure that The Warning Army will fill in the gaps. 😀

Pau is the main song writer according to Dany. she gets an idea on the piano and then brings it to her sisters
@Metal4Life6662 жыл бұрын
Song initiator, they all wrote together. Pau doesn’t write the whole song. I saw the interview where Dany said that about Pau which is great because Dany loves to give her sisters credit. Dany & Ale loves giving all the sisters credit. Pau sometimes can be all about herself but hopefully she changes. They all write together most of the time. Pau may come up with a concept but that’s far from a full written song

@@danielmccormick3611 as I said I saw the interview and heard her say it. Then she explained that Pau comes up with the concept and they work on it together. That makes Pau the song initiator. You should know this by now, it’s been spoken in length. Pau said the most amount of fights they have is when they write lyrics for the songs. Do you remember that? Of course they all have written songs individually too.
