I don't know how much of a plumber you are, but an experienced plumber knows you never use caulk around the base of a toilet where it meets the floor. Also, what happened to using the wax ring to seal the toilet to the ceptic line? This is probably intended to be for outdoor use only, but it is doubtful that this type of privy toilet would meet inspection codes anywhere. I will give it to you that you are quite inventive and that is admirable, but be careful where you place your makeshift portable toilet because you could end up with big fines.
@tipsunknow18 күн бұрын
Thank you for your detailed feedback and kind words about my inventiveness! 😊 You're absolutely right that traditional plumbing practices involve wax rings and avoiding caulking around the base of a toilet indoors. This project is indeed designed with outdoor or temporary solutions in mind, not to replace standard plumbing systems. I’ll make sure to highlight these details more clearly in future videos to avoid any confusion. Thanks again for sharing your expertise and for watching!

Those details aside, we have many, many houseless people here in the US who have no place to shower or go to the bathroom. This brilliant way of using materials others would throw away could help alleviate some of the distress. In the US, we want people to just disappear and not be seen so that we don’t have to worry or feel guilty. This kind of creativity and knowledge should cause us to want to help the helpless. Thank you, sir, for showing us how a whole functioning portable bathroom could be created out of some recycled materials, and some PVC piping and a few tools! Very intelligent!!

Много труда и смекалки. Только сколько времени продержится сама эта пластиковая кабинка до полного разрушения?
@tipsunknow9 күн бұрын
Спасибо за ваш интересный вопрос! Мы тоже задумались об этом и постарались выбрать пластик, который прослужит как можно дольше. Конечно, время покажет. Надеемся, что конструкция окажется достаточно надежной. Благодарим за просмотр!

Where does the dirty water from hand washing go? It seem it travels under the floor pipes where it will smell and cause bacteria to grow. Why not attach to waste line?
@bellarose65099 күн бұрын
This is portable, and you wouldn’t do that. Chemical toilets at fairs and public events are not connected either. You can attach a pan underneath with something that is ecologically safe that can be hosed or siphoned out. You can also attach a tank that would catch rain water or that could be filled. In warm, sunny climates, the water would be heated by a simple parabolic reflector at the top with a copper tube. I know this because I made one for a high school project. Because we have too much, we don’t know how to be creative like this.
@tipsunknow8 күн бұрын
Thank you for the great question! In fact, the dirty water from hand washing usually travels through the house's drainage system, along with other waste water. However, if not properly managed, it can lead to odors and bacterial growth. Connecting it directly to the main waste line is a good solution to avoid these issues. Thanks for sharing!

No es muy estético...pero es una opción por si se te rompe

Good job and very smart person deserves appreciation. But I don't know why you don't install bidet hose to toilets in your bathrooms because cleaning with water is better than using paper towels
