AMAZING Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) Kawasaki C-2 Landing | 2019 Avalon Airshow

One of the highlights of the Avalon Airshow this year is the JASDF C-2 that will be performing on both the trade days and for the actual airshow being held this weekend. Featured here is its arrival into Avalon on Monday evening!

Excellent JASDF Kawasaki C-2 Aircraft! :) Its Japan’s Equivalent of the US Lockheed C-5.

No not quite the same size as a C-5, more like a Airbus A400 a bit bigger than a C-130 and only about a 3rd the size of a C-5

What do you use to record these clips, and how do you stabilize the shots?

I use a Sachtler Ace M and I touch up some of the jitters with adobe warp stabilization

@@HDMelbourneAviation Capability wise it sits between the C 130 J and the C17. twice the lift of Hercules, but two thirds the lift of C 17.But with similar speed and range to C17. More like the A400 M in size. Still, its done the rounds in Nz now with our Airforce giving it the once over,one of our defence white papers was actually looking at two C17 a few years ago. And the air transport replacements is being decided now. This could be a compromise.

@@snapdragon9300 they are similar, but the C-2 is slightly bigger and has a bit more range than the A-400M, and is faster than the C-17 because it has a cruise speed of 900 kph
