That is really beautiful, Sam. Gorgeous, gorgeous flowers, as well. I know it's the holiday with family, but I sure wish we YT snoops could.... hear... her reaction, your Nan. That's kinda funny. I was going to put 'see' her reaction, but it's her voice that we know better. It's a lovely voice, smiling now thinking of it. I've just received my wreath box die set... Looks easy to put together(with ur tips, Sam)... but I rEAlly like the 10 decoration dies included. Thanks for this tutorial/tips. Ur friends flower gifts look lush as decoration and I'm preferring these to the bow u have... but still ... these cards/boxes/goodies we make look good on camera n sooo much more fabulous in real life so it's hard to choose. Fun box! I'd be inclined to put my decorative paper over the joints, which would mostly hide them (would have dealt with the glue issue you had, too!) and strengthen them at the same time. I do think you were right to stick with those pretty poinsettias rather than the bow - makes the project look just stunning! The bow will find a home elsewhere -- maybe put a small bauble in the center opening?

Wow, I havn't seen anything like that and it seems to be quite versatile - I can imagine a cake-box...For the first layer of lining it might be a good idea to put it offset to the seems so they are less obvious and the box even gains strengh. Thanks for sharing :-)

I saw this advertised and really liked the idea Sam. It really is such an unusual pretty box shape. I also agree it would make a fantastic wreath for any season. this had to be the most difficult thing to make, my quick grab glue wouldn't quick grab, it didn't line up took loads of paper . got there in the end but you make it look so simple and clean and easy , I don't know how you do it Sam. on all your stuff it's amazing

I'm going to have to get some of that glue! Nan's going to love this as much as we all love her! Not half as labour intensive as I thought it was going to and looks great. Great idea below to use to keep special baubles in. Collal is awesome, just a shame it dries shiny. Lol you're mean teasing gran with it under the tree 🙊. The flowers are amazing, forget the bow lol. I was on the fence with this set, but seeing it as full tutorial I'm thinking yeah I could make good use of this set. I would use the side dies and make dividers so if it was sweets they didn't roll around being they would have some weight.

I watched Helens live when she made this, I wasn't convinced. However, I've been back to Craftstash and the die set has been in the basket, out the basket a few times. Now, having watched this tutorial, the die set is back in my basket lol. I'm thinking of making individual compartments and having it as a sock wreath (then later it can contain "special" baubles. 2 years ago, I bought for my son and his partner, a 1st Christmas in your 1st home together, bauble. Last year I bought another special bauble for them (I forget what was on it), this year I've bought them a 1st Christmas engaged, bauble. I think this would be a nice place to store them. My son's partner wants to make it their Christmas thing, a new porcelain bauble that is unique to them. Id be interested to hear what other people think. BTW, I think yours is totally stunning without the bow. The poinsettias are the perfect finishing touch

Hey Sam...I was so excited to see you use the Wreath dies from SMC. Although I loved the look and concept of the dies, I was worried about the stability of the completed Wreath so I didn't add this die set to my cart (that and the fact that I purchased Helen's other die sets from the release so kind of ran out of money LOL). Those poinsettias are absolutely stunning and I would love to see a tutorial on making those. Two thumbs up for adding them and taking off the bow as I think it would have been 'too cluttered' if ya know what I mean but hey, I am firm believer in 'to each his own'. Thanks for sharing how to reinforce this Sam...looks like my bank account is mad at you, again LOL! PS: I'm thinking a couple of thumb notches on opposite sides of the lid would help getting the lid on-and-off

What glue do you use, it seems to work quickly, when I've tried PVA it stays wet and slippy for ages x

Hi Sarah, I wouldn’t use PVA on papercraft projects, it has a very high water content which is why is takes longer to dry and warps your cardstock. My white glue is a acrylic based glue called cosmic shimmer which is a quick grab and then so use Collall All Purpose clear glue which is a solvent based construction glue so it dries hard and doesn’t warp your cardstock. Hope that all helps, I also have a video talking about lots of different glues. x
