Suggest you try to get a different frame of reference, kick it up a notch intellectually and experiential. Every generation perceives they are "misunderstood", alienated or given short-shrift. Suggest good musicians try to get above their sand-box and into a more world-like perspective and objective, less emotive and gut-level, reactive mode. Frankly, many folks would say "who gives a shit, even if your "generation" was misunderstood.....and they'd be right. The world doesn't revolve around you, little dweeb, get it through your thick little skull, and move on and upward.
