Great episode as always. We are huge fans. Liam's smile holding the fish says it all. Cheers and safe travels around Tasmania. Jane and John.

Great video. I have just found you on KZbin. I live in Tassie and i love it. Tassie is a compact little place of wonders. I get out to fish, photograph and walk in the bush all over the place. Thanks.

Thank you, so glad you enjoyed it. Tassie has exceeded all expectations for us so far. At the moment we are just starting to explore the East coast with a bit in the middle we want to get back to. So much to see and do!

Great episode guys, we had no water in there for 2 days, no idea what the tides were doing but never come back in once it went out 🤣. When using a knife to shuck oysters, go in the top of the shell near the front of the shell, then twist a bit and lift shell. I was an oyster shucker when I left school doing 200-300 dozen a day, and this brought back some memories 🤘

Hi guy’s, when it comes to oysters which size is better it’s neither. Fresh is Best. Try not to eat them when too small though, you only want to eat adult (developed) oysters which is usually 12-24 months of age. You can tell their age by the rings on the shells. One dark and one light band is equal to one year. Cheers guys, hope you enjoy tassie, make sure you get an ice cream from the Pondering frog cafe.

Oh thanks mate! Never knew that about oysters, the really big ones were so hard to get into but the medium (restaurant sized) ones were pretty easy and they all tasted amazing! Pondering frog hey, il make sure its on the list!
