Kaz, you should spend at least 1 week each to visit Sabah and Sarawak. Especially Sarawak because it is the biggest region in Malaysia. Hope you will come again to Sarawak.

that kolo mee sure looks so delicious, and the kek lapis is sarawak specialty, and I don't think any can compare with it. other states might have their own kek lapis but for me sarawak kek lapis is ichiban . Certainly 2 days wastn enough to explore whole Sarawak Look forward on your next future trip to Sarawak Kaz !

Atmosphere similar to Semenanjung, but I think Sarawak has more nature places to explore and yes the crocodiles there are scary, so avoid waters.

You should eat seafood at Topspot and try Oyster Pancake. Very cheap and delicious..Sarawak is the biggest state in Malaysia. Hope you come back and explore Sarawak

Finally you went to Kuching and tasted many good stuff... Next time you should try kek lapis yam(made wth real taro/yam) from Taka cake house, original teh C Peng(3-layer tea) at 7th mile and ketchup mee😋 Yes, if u want to visit Sarawak..you would need a week at least..do visit Mulu national park and Bako national park💪🍻

Kaz...the Sarawakian umai do not copy the Japanese..it is original Sarawakian/Malay food..history shown 400 years ago the Japanese adopted the Malay food bordering China..during the Champa empire..that food now become popular all over the world - sushi..originally the fermented fish was inside the glutinuos rice..gradually after 400 years of evolution we see the beautiful and tasty Japanese sushi..and today you can try the Malay sushi copied and fusion to suit the Malay taste.
