Hi I’m not being able to connect the Maono microphone with my iPhone 15 😢

I use the BlackMagic Camera app for iPhone and you can chose the microphone/audio input to make sure it is using the correct microphone rather than the built in iPhone mic.

What's the name of the app you use for switching between both micophones? I can't get my cellphone to record the audio with the Maono mic

Why not also have a space inside the case for the magnets? 😅 Was it too late when the idea came about to include magnets? Seems like it 😅 Overall, eh... Acceptable sound quality.

Hiii does this mic have a slot to Insert a fluffy wind shield muff? If I wanted to buy one separately?

It didn't come with one and I am not sure how you would attach one as I didn't see any sort of slot or attachment point.

It does actually comes with the wind muff for free and also the earbud monitor (type-c). It has a sort of "clip" that will be attached.

Hi Carl - I just purchased this after I watched your video. thanks! I have a question. What program / app are you using on your iPhone 15 were you can select Audio in settings? I was just planning to use the video on the camera that is on the iPhone 15. Please let me know and thank you!

I use the Black Magic Camera App - it's by the same company that makes my DaVinci resolve editing software. I think other apps would allow you to choose but that is the one I use.

@@techfulgoodies Thank you! I did a test last night just with the video on my iPhone and it worked amazingly well. I didn't need to set it. It just used the Maono intead of the built in iPhone mic - so all is good! Thanks Carl!

Unfortunately no, it is USB-C only. You "might" be able to get a USB-C to Lightning adapter like this but I can't guarantee that it will work with the lav mic. a.co/d/0a1sOg0F
