I’m not sure how the food pricing compares to larger stores, but for many people, increasing selection is a good thing. I live in an urban area and our closest grocery store is 5 miles away. For families that don’t have a car, grocery shopping is difficult in our neighborhood.

I know I can get that 6 pack of apple juice at Walmart for $2.98, usually. I think everyone will definitely have to pay attention to the price.

If the prices aren’t cheaper than Dollar General or Walmart they will lose some customer base. Thank you for this informative video.

Hi Browneyes!! I am hoping the $5 box of K-cups come to our stores soon. I have been to Miami twice. I was a 12 yrs old the 1st time and don't remember it much. The 2nd time MOM and I flew there for a cruise. We stayed over night in the hotel and we were not there long however, I was not a huge fan. I love Destin, Panama City and Clearlake ...all those beach areas. The Keys are nice too (not to far from Miami) Hope you are having fun. TYFS God bless you. Safe travels.

@@BROWNEYESONABUDGET it’s pretty laid back. In Key West Fort Zachary Taylor park is a great place to snorkel 🤿 near the shore. I went there 11 years ago. There is also an aquarium downtown & cool shopping with yummy places to get treats like fudge, key lime pie etc

Right?!? Me neither! I am afraid if DT keeps this up they will eventually go out of business because we can get these same items thst they are increasing at Dollar General and Walmart!😳🤦🏽‍♀️

I work at a dollar tree 🌲 in north Carolina but I am out on medical leave I had knee replacement surgery you can go to Dollar general and get a lot of items for $1

I live in Florida currently been here for a while and yeah it’s hot all the time even in the morning when you first get up it’s like 90 something degrees outside in the summertime

I’m thinking that some of the non $1.25 items (especially the food) are probably cheaper at Walmart.

Some things are. I've had to put some item's back from Walmart they were cheaper at Dollar Tree.

Hi Brown Eyes…I like how this store had all the prices listed for items. This store is very well stocked and very neat. Wow! So many new items with the higher price points. Looks like it’s Walmart, not DT. Zapper Lantern’s… we never got those!! I’m going to be on the hunt got them.

I have not really seen the $3 and up items yet in our areas except the family dollar/Dollar tree stores. I did go to a Pop up shelf store a few ago. I believe dollar tree stores are coming to an end by next year.

My part of N.C close to Va .today was 97 has bern staying in upper 90's .Thought I was melting out there came inside to wash up NOPE still fat.😅😊 said 97 gelt like 107 😂

Our local store has two isles labeled plus isle. Very few items on there just yet. So far I have not seen anything I would not pay the $3 or $5 for. I have bought several things too from there. Our local store is a mess. Corporate does not give manager enough hours to have enough staff to keep shelves stocked and straight. Our manager is not a strong manager… I still shop the store and fuss the whole time I am in there for it being messy. As for the price hike-you check the product out and if you want it for the price they have on it then purchase it if not put back on the shelf and walk away… just like we do in any other store. No one is making us purchase anything!
