Neodymium magnets at the right size are really strong. Two quarter-sized magnets stuck together are nearly impossible to take apart by hand.

Ex-trucker, 34-year contractor. Youstop to check your load straps, but also the LOAD itself! Straps may still be tight, but parts of the load could be shifted, loose, crushing, abrading, etc. The straps are nice, but not a substitute for eyeballing.

Well, since most oil pan drain plugs are either located in the curved part on the pan, or in a recessed area, that plug is worthless. Especially on an aluminum pan.

The drain plug for your oil pan looks very handy to have but I don't know if I'm gonna trust for it to NOT fall out. The torque wrench from Gearwrench looks super nice! Something alot of mechanics would want for sure.

On the 'Re-Grip' I spliced High Voltage Cable for decades, Funny thing is, they used the same thing on terminations and Load Break Elbos. Never thought of using it this way though. Good for him

...that's nice, but the middle of the rocker panel is not designed to support half the weight of the car. that demo car is going to have a nice bow in the rocker /pinch weld. a tire shop put a bow in my GTIs rocker by lifting/jacking from the middle 😠

moved tons of mfg from taiwan to china, quality suffered. They're just a re-branding company, their "innovations" are just new tools you can find in many different brands all made in the same factories in china and taiwan. They made their name because their taiwan made stuff held up.

That re-grip is just a slightly better auto shrink tubing that we used on powerline connections going underground. I still have several tools here with my handles covered with it.

Back in the early 80's there was a guy selling the same thing at ABQ nm fleamarket. If I remember right he said the company went bust and was given some stock to recoup his investment. I bought 2 of them 2 for 5 bucks or something like that. I was probably 10 yrs old at the time but even then I was thinking that's a great product.
